Charlcombe Inn

Lovely stay perfect spot for the park and ride into Bath. The rooms were very comfortable clean and warm. Breakfast was great with many choices as was the evening meal. Staff were very helpful and friendly

Excellent accommodation. Stayed in one of the rooms in the courtyard. The room was clean spacious and good king size bed. Lovely walk in shower room. Breakfast very nice cooked to order. Good base for visiting Bath will definitely use again

Excellent pub with a vast breakfast choice. Food was very good and plenty of it. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable and facilities excellent. Park and ride just down the road was an excellent addition to our stay making our journey into the City Centre quick and easy. Thankyou to Nick and the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Stayed in one of the rooms in the converted barn conversion. Clean, spacious with en-suite shower room. Toiletries provided - no conditioner for hair. Breakfast included - self serve cold with hot food ordered at the table. 10 mins drive to Bath with park and ride in walking distance. Pub garden overlooks race course

Stayed in here for two nights B&B due to proximity to party venue. It was ok, served a purpose but pricey. Room (booked well in advance) was disappointingly small but clean. En-suite shower room was spacious and well equipped. The hotel is next to a busy road so noisy with windows open. Breakfast was good but thought there would be more continental breakfast choice - I don't like individual packets of cereal and we had to ask for extra toast. Nice touch to have complimentary bottle of fizz on arrival, but had to ask for milk as none provided. Mini bottle of fresh milk was a welcome gesture when provided. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Access up to the room passed the pub gents toilets which were smelly. Sleep on the Friday was dreadful due to thin wall of next room and had to ask guest to turn off tv at 2am. Wish we had been offered a room in the adjoining barn but may be they're more expensive?

Th property is only a few miles away from Bath and the hospital. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. The restaurant menu choice was excellent and food was very good. There was ample free parking available. Our stay was enjoyable and we will use again.

The Charlcombe Inn is a really great discovery - an exceptionally welcoming team made this 3day trip to see family in Bath very enjoyable and relaxing. Food was super with very generous portions. Rooms were clean, very comfortable and situated in a lovely gated annexe. There is ample parking and a lovely walk around Lansdown Racecourse literally in the doorstep. My sometimes nervous dog was welcomed and spoiled - the rooms also have a welcome box for those travelling with their dogs. Five stars are really not enough for this lovely gem

What a great hotel Charlcombe Inn is. We had a great room a delicious breakfast with very friendly staff; it felt like home. Close to park and ride. Everything was great. We will definitely return. Thank you Nick and your staff xxx
