Wrest Point

L'hôtel a été rénové. La chambre a été rénovée et bien mieux que la dernière fois que j'y suis allé. L'hôtel avait l'air frais et luxueux. Le personnel est gentil. L'hôtel est calme et offre une vue imprenable. C'est un bon endroit pour s'évader le temps d'un agréable week-end. Petit-déjeuner buffet au café Broadwalk avec vue sur l'eau, mais les fenêtres devraient avoir des stores. Parce que la lumière du soleil peut être trop intense pour les yeux.

De la minute où nous sommes arrivés à l'enregistrement jusqu'au moment de notre départ, ce fut une expérience horrible. Je ne recommanderais JAMAIS cet hôtel à personne. Je suis allé m'enregistrer et le gars de la réception est parti. J'ai attendu et attendu. 5 personnes derrière le bureau en un seul et personne ne pouvait nous reconnaître. Je me suis réveillé avec des travaux de forage et d'entretien à 7 heures du matin et le départ était hostile et horrible aussi. Puis 30 minutes pour préparer un café. Oh parce qu'ils ont perdu la commande bien sûr. Du début à la fin, une expérience vraiment loin d’être ordinaire ! N'y allez pas !

Nice staff, we celebrated our anniversary and they made us feel so welcomed. Bar staff were so friendly and always giving the best recommendations about cocktails. Btw cocktails are so good there!

As one would expect, great staff and service, easy access - and laid back and an inviting/friendly atmosphere compared to a few others I have visited. Been twice now after getting a great room rate and well worth the stay with some great views (room location dependant). Great choice of both casual inexpensive meals at the Boardwalk Bistro and the more upper class eateries. Great amenities in one location. Our family recently had the pleasure of staying in the Tower Bay View Suite at Wrest Point Tower Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with the utmost care and attention by the hotel staff. They were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The suite itself was immaculate, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The cleanliness was top-notch, which is always a significant factor when traveling with kids. However, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the unrestricted bay view from our suite. It was absolutely breathtaking and provided a serene backdrop to our stay. The kids were enthralled by the view, and it added an extra layer of magic to our vacation. In conclusion, our stay at Wrest Point Tower Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of the stunning view, immaculate suite, and exceptional staff made our stay truly memorable. We can't wait to return and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a stay in the area.

Room was spacious, sufficient for up to 3 pax. The room has a good view! Bed was comfortable and there’s free parking which is very convenient for people who are driving. Will book this place again if we’re back in Hobart.

I am very disappointed as I thought I booked a room in Wrest Point but instead it was in adjacent property called Motor Inn. I felt that I have been cheated as the picture in the booking details showed me Wrest point Towel and not Motor Inn. I thought the room was called Motor Inn as I have not been there to know the existence of Motor Inn. When I queried about it, they said it was the agent's (trip.com) fault . To move to the main tower will cost me an extra of $80. I felt I have been conned and they should have placed the Motor Inn building photo instead of the tower of Wrest Point in their website for booking. (It is deceptive marketing - show you a ferrari for sale and got a lemon after you have paid for it) Motor Inn is an old building and does not have lifts to the room we were allocated and being retirees , we have to carry our bags up to 2 flights of stairs. On top of that, the room walls were not sound proof and you can hear every customer slamming their doors and flushing their toilets. I thought we have booked the room with the sea view instead there were only bushes as a window view. It was so embarrassing when I thought I could request for a room on a higher floor in wrest tower for good views but instead shown out of the door to an old adjacent building call Motor Inn. In all its websites and advertising, there is not 1 photo to show Motor Inn as Wrest Point . It has always being the tower used to promote the sale of their rooms. The Bistro food is poor quality and costly. We order from the caviary and the food came out to be cold and dry. We wanted to try the other 2 restaurants Kwan Ho and the one on the 17 th floor in the main tower but were told they were close. I thought being a top notch hotel, their restaurant will be open 7 days instead they are closed 2 days.( sun and mon). - the days we were there sat,sun,mon) They have a fantastic location but sad to say they don't have the marks of a 5 star hotel. The hotel’s location is great and the view is stunning. We get the room with waterview, can the Tasman bridge. The hotel do offer variety food venues.

Clean hotel, spacious room with a view of mount wellington (stayed in deluxe mountain view). Very beautiful views. Free parking and the restaurant selection are great. But on the fringe of Hobart CBD, so expect a bit of travelling to visit Battery Point, Salamanca Market, Franklin Wharf, etc.
