Lastarria Hotel & Aparts

had 2 separate stay in the same superior loft apartment during my trip in the newer 61 building (not 43 one) check in is odd as the entrance to the hotel is literally by the cafe tables on the street, and often times the door was locked and you had to wait for someone to come after pressing doorbell...i can understand this when i was leaving at 6am in the morning, but not at daytime. Some of the checkin staff was very helpful and agreed to help with luggage (remember no elevator in both buildings), but there was a lady who couldn't care less. The apartment itself was very spacious, but lots of wear and tear (wall paper below window falling off, cushion on couch extremely slanted). There was a safe (not often seen in apartment type hotels so a plus) and things seem clean (superficially....the wallpaper needs replacement of just ripped off and paint). But the basics are there...comfy bed, decent size bathroom with good water pressure in a good size shower, basic toiletries. Kitchen was a plus and there is a store right next to apartment that sells prepared/frozen food for early breakfast when nothing is open (Starbucks across the street opens around 7 or 8am). So overall a good stay, with issues, but price was good for the value. Should be 3.5 stars but TA doesn't let you pick that. Now if only it had an elevatory.....

We stayed in 61 to start with-two bedroom, but on 4th floor. Returned after visiting Valparaiso and stayed in 43 in a one bedroom that I much preferred. Front des was very accommodating. Set up transportation to airport and readily found someone to bring luggage up and down flights of stairs.

Excellent property in a great happening and central location. The staff were exceptional. Good value for money. I would stay again. Many restaurants and bars are located within metres. The main shopping area is a 10 minute walk

Great service. The reception desk was always helpful and friendly. The apartment was clean and quiet. It was close to restaurants and we could walk to all of the sights. It was near a grocery store and had an adequate kitchen.

I stayed two nights, and it was perfect. The staff (Ignacio) was welcoming and addressed all my needs. The apartment was clean and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I had a two bedroom and two bathroom apart with a balcony. I'm defiantly coming back to Lastarria Hotel & Aparts and recommend to anyone seeking a spacious apartment/hotel in a funky and vibrant part of the city.

We loved staying at the Lastarria Hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the position of the hotel was perfect. It is nestled into the lively Bohemian area, so the night life is right outside your doorstep. It is also well located near other tourist attractions. The room was spacious and lovely also.

Clean, with personality and the Hotel workers, very kind. We enjoy. The only down side for us was the stair for my elderly mother. But other than tha the overall expresidente was amazing, definitely I will return.

The Hotel is in an excellent location near Santa Lucia Hill and the Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center. The room was fine. However, do not prepay for breakfast unless you can wait until 10:00 A.M. to begin breakfast. We prepaid an extra $33.00 U.S. for four breakfasts. When we arrived, the Canadian front desk manager Alejandro told us that the breakfast at a nearby restaurant did not start until 10:00 A.M. We told Alejandro that we could not eat breakfast that late because we had an early flight. He did not offer us boxed breakfasts. Therefore, we asked that our breakfast charges be reimbursed because a 10:00 A.M. starting time was unusually late, the hotel did not give us prior notice that breakfast did not start until 10:00 A.M. and the nearby restaurant would not be serving us breakfast. Alejandro said he would consult his supervisor. That was 17 days ago, but we have not received any communication from the Hotel

Es una excelente alternativa para una estadía de grupo en Santiago. Quedamos muy satisfechos con las instalaciones, el personal, la ubicación y las facilidades del apartamento. Volveremos sin duda y desde ya lo recomendamos a guroos similares.
