Caldera's Memories

We stayed at Caldera’s Memories for 9 nights for our honeymoon. We absolutely enjoyed every moment. The view is breath taking and the service was spectacular. Breakfast is served each morning and you choose your meal options for the following day and what time you’d like to have it ready. Juri was so courteous and often brought a treat around the pool during the day. Sonila made our rooms up everyday with such great attention to details, Lukas assisted us with great restaurant recommendations and booking reservations for us, and Kalliopi really made us feel at home, welcomed us and assisted many times with helping us order food in for lunch or dinner, and helping us to plan our week out with excursions. They hotel is located on the caldera, directly on the path between Fira and Oia- it’s up higher so you have so much privacy from the many hikers that many other hotels in the area don’t have. We recommend you rent the windmill hot tub for sunset during your stay- we got it with a bottle of champagne and it was one of the highlights of our trip, it was so romantic and private, BEST SUNSET on the island of Santorini! Imerovigli is about a 15min walk away with many restaurants and the white caldera building views along the way with many restaurants. The walk to Fira is about an hour however I recommend a good pair of running shoes to walk as flip flops or sandals will be difficult on the volcanic stone pathways. Always bring a bottle of water! The walk to Oia is about 1.5-2.5 hours depending on your ability and if you stop for photos, also make sure you bring water and wear proper shoes. The views on this hike was by far our favourite! The staff at Caldera’s Memories treated us so special and really elevated our vacation, with only a few rooms it felt almost like we were the only people there- often getting a bottle of wine or a few beers to watch the sunset alone instead of in a huge crowd in Fira or Oia. Book your stay here! You will not regret it!

It's just had a full refurb and they've not yet updated their photos but oh my goodness it's heaven! The views, the pool the rooms and the staff are phenomenal. Nothing is too much, before you even think you need anything they are there! Favourite hotel ever and I travel a lot!

What an amazing place this was. I cannot say enough about the staff, the rooms or the view. We felt like we had rockstar service and attention here and the view was stunning. There really are no words for the sunsets here. The place is perfectly positioned on the island along the main road to Oia. You can walk into Imerovigli and into Fira a bit further. It’s also right on the famous hiking path that goes from Fira to Oia which you can just hope on and go one way or the other. We did the hike to Oia and it was amazing. The pool was the perfect temperature and the pool loungers were comfortable, clean and maintained. The hotel only has about 8 rooms and it makes the place feel private and exclusive. The rooms were super clean and well maintained. We had the honeymoon suite which has a loft area where the bed is located. It was quite and the bed was comfortable and always made up and ready. The bathroom was large and clean. Water pressure was very good and the shower was pleasant. THE STAFF!!! OMG. The staff were SO friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast brought to our room every morning and ate on the balcony overlooking the pool area. They made sure we had everything we needed and we’re always smiling and polite. Top notch breakfast choices, by the way. You will always find something you like. We also had use of the hot tub in the windmill for 1 hour and we chose to watch one of the famous sunsets from there. An experience we will never forget. Speaking of sunsets. You don’t need to stand in the crowds of Oia to watch the sunset. Just stay here and you’ll get the best views of the sunsets you can ever imagine. Without the crowds!! These guys are making dreams here. Please stay with them. You won’t regret it. I promise. Ps. Be sure to try Taverna Tasos for dinner which is within 3 mins walking from Caldera’s Memories. Great little family run taverna with fantastic traditional Greek food. You’ll feel like part of the family!!

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Calderas Memories, staying in the Honeymoon Suite (Room 12). We wanted a hotel with the Caldara view but didn't want to be stacked on top of each other like other hotels. The hotel is perfectly placed on the quieter stretch of the Fira to Oia walking trail. As the hotel has only 8 rooms you get the feeling of having the place to yourself like a private villa for most of the time. There is always someone at reception during daylight hours for helpful advice. The pool area looks out over the Caldera and so do all the sea facing rooms and benefit from the amazing sunsets. The cleanliness of all areas and rooms are worthy of 5 stars. The staff are a credit to the property the breakfasts are plentiful and can be taken on your balcony. There is a handy bus stop a few hundred yards away so you can take advantage of the local transport. A 15 minute walk sees you in the quaint little village of Imerovigli with good choices of restaurants and 50 minutes along the trail to Fira with stunning views of the Caldera which changes at every turn. As a stop off to Fira we recommend the path down to Skaros rock but don't miss the church that is on the other side of the rock as many people do. If you are wanting a small boutique style hotel with a quiet and personal feel then look no further than here. We hope to return one day.

There are no words to describe the experience that we had. Amazing hotel with amazing staff,beautiful and clean rooms, adorable pool area with privacy,tasty and excellent breakfast.Facilities like 5star hotel. Thank you very much caldera memories staff for the best accommodation that we ever had.

Caldera's Memories, just remember this name for the best hotel in Imerovigli Santorini . We stay for a few days at this hotel. Very welcoming atmosphere. The staff of the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They always greeting and smiling to us. The breakfasts were amazing. The location of the hotel is great. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the couples who want to visit Santorini. We will be back to this place soon.MJ
