Ta Van Family Homestay

I really enjoyed my stay at Tavan Family home stay. I stayed for 5 nights. I found it very homely. Thanh really looked after me and made me feel at home. The food was great. The location is also very good. Thanh and her family are very kind and made my stay very enjoyable. I will definitely go back.

We had a great stay in a lovely private room for one night. Our host was very friendly and cooked a delicious dinner together with us. It’s a great option if you are planning to do a trekking tour with homestay experience. Can definitely recommend this accommodation :)

We stayed in the deluxe room with full window view of the paddy fields and lush mountain with water fall. Woke up every morning with the nature scenic view. We used the kitchen to prepare food and beverages and sit at the open garden for fantastic view of the surroundings. Near to trekking activities. Good for out-of-city life. Peaceful place with cool environment. House keeper cooked good dinner and lunch for us. Good place to have a honeymoon and retreat for relaxation. All great! Should visit this place.

We stayed one night at Thanh Huyen and her sister’s place, they upgraded us for free to a room with Mountain View which was really nice! The view was beautiful! The room was clean. We ate diner and breakfast, both meals cooked by her sister, the food was delicious! Finally, Thanh booked us a 4 hours hike with a local guide, it was an amazing day!

Our tour agent TSA helped to book Ta Van Family home stay for 1 night. We received warm welcome by the owner. We stayed in 2nd floor with mountain view. This place is really for those who wanted countryside experience. Basic accommodation. No aircon. Just fan. There is water heater for bathing. We need to keep our balcony door closed the whole night as my friend saw a cat moving into our balcony in the evening. Flies could be seen in our room and bathroom. Is a night for you to rest your head. I gave 2 stars for the facilities. 1 more star for the beautiful view from our room. We were unable to give any credit for our meals there. I think this homestay is managing in a commercial / business perspective: We were the only tourists in this homestay. The dinner on our table was a lot more for 4 pax. The owner clarified she thought we were big eaters after a long hike. Our bill showed 2 times of menu price for chicken and pork which we ordered only a plate each. Since we were there to enjoy holiday, we decided not to clarify with owner on the spot. Our free breakfast was instant noodles (soup)with egg and cabbages.

I really enjoyed my stay at Huyen‘s place. My room had a lovely view of the rice fields of Tavan village. Huyen and her stuff were very kind and hospitable. She also helped me to book a mototaxi back to Sapa. I definitely recommend it.

I could not believe my eyes with the stunning view and friendly staff. The food was excellent. Inclusion; it was warmly placed and out of our expectations. We will be back as soon as possible. Thank you for your hospitalities.
