The Inn at Turkey Hill

LOVE this place. I've stayed in many different rooms at this hotel and I've never been disappointed. I've also stayed at different times of the year and the grounds are just beautiful no matter when you go. I stay here at least 2 maybe 3 times a year.

The inn was charming. Our room was lovely, comfortable and immaculate, and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. Dinner in the casual restaurant was fun and the food was good, and breakfast at the inn was great with plenty of variety. It was a great one night stop on our road trip, but we hope to come back for a longer stay to explore the area and have dinner at the fine dining restaurant, which looked wonderful.

Very charming alternative to the off highway hotel chains. We would definitely return. The staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms are well appointed and leave nothing to be desired. Did find that the foam topper on the bed was hot for sleeping and too soft but would just ask to have it removed next time. The grounds are beautiful. There’s a fire in the evenings where you can chat with other guests or sit and have a drink. They are dog friendly so you can bring your dog and if warm enough eat outside with your dog or take food to your room. The breakfast was great. You will notice highway noise when you are outside but it did not disturb our sleep. Recommend this inn.

There is not one thing to criticize about this beautiful Inn- not even the slightest little thing! Gorgeous property. Beautiful rooms. Staff is off the charts accommodating, kind and polite. Just perfection! Side note-bartender at the brewery bar, Alicia, was the best bartender we every encountered.

What a lovely inn! We arrived in the late afternoon after a long day of bike riding and were checked in quickly & efficiently. We stayed in The Stables, which were adorable. Our room, Cricket, was spacious and the decor was well thought out. Rustic and inviting. Cozy fireplace, big whirlpool tub (we didn’t get a chance to use), comfortable king bed, mini frig., writing desk and ample storage. We headed to the casual dining option at the micro brewery and enjoyed a delicious burger & homemade chips along with an Octoberfest beer & wonderful acoustic entertainment. Enjoyed the a**osphere there. It was the perfect end to our day. Breakfast is served starting at 6:30 which is great when you want to get started on an early hike. They served up a host of delicious options for the serve yourself crowd plus other options to order from your server. Loved the variety of delectable baked goods. Dining for breakfast is in their atrium with a splendid view of the well kept gardens & pond area. There is attention to detail throughout the property- from the front door to the gardens to the inviting accommodations. The employees we encountered were very gracious. We were disappointed that we weren’t staying an extra day as we would have enjoyed trying their fine dining restaurant too!

In general, in any establishment of any kind if an employee is friendly and efficient, then you can assume that this is a good employee. However, when an entire staff is friendly and efficient, then you can assume that it is a well managed establishment. This is the case at the Inn at Turkey Hill. From the check in to the breakfast server to the staff in the Brew Pub everyone was courteous , friendly and efficient. We booked a courtyard king room and it was comfortable (especially the bed) and very well appointed. The facility was beautiful inside and out. We ate in the Brew Pub and the food and beer were excellent. As we were leaving one of the staff members who had noticed that my wife did not do stairs well took us over to a side entrance that would give us a stair free trip to our room. The facility was extraordinarily easy to find from Rt. 80 (literally a stone's throw away). We used this a stopover between Columbus OH and the Boston area. We are going back to Columbus in four weeks and on our way out we booked a room for the trip out and the trip back. On the trip out we booked a reservation in the formal dining room.

The last time we were here, we saw the raising of the structure that became the Brewing Co, so it was awhile ago. I was amazed to find three of the staff still working there, and the experience top notch with everyone taking enormous pride in all they do to keep their guests comfortable and well fed. Not a fan of dinners but breakfasts are incredible, endless fresh fruit, coffee and baked goods. Try the honey butter. The gazebo pond has colorful large goldfish now instead of the ducks ( improvement) and the fire pit was used by a family for s’mores. Quiet stay for our busy long weekend and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Lovely Inn in the midst of PA rural area. I stayed here many years ago and it is still very nice. My room was large and very comfortable with a nice updated bathroom. It is a country feel and the restaurant was excellent with a sweet view of the pond and waterfall. The front desk staff were very friendly. The breakfast was okay but nothing special. It was a buffet with scrambled eggs (but you can also order any way you want) with delicious bacon and sausages. French toast or pancakes would be a nice option but they were not offered.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay at The Inn at Turkey Hill. From the initial phone call, through check out - every step was wonderful. The room was lovely, with high quality bedding and amenities. Breakfast buffet was just right. The grounds are maintained beautifully! Next time we'll make sure to enjoy the fire pit!
