B&B Il Corso

We stayed for 4 days and could not have been happier. Location was perfect, comfortable, clean and the host were very responsive and helpful before and during our visit. The breakfast was a little confusing but ample. Cappuccino/ Croissant and go! Highly recommend.

This was an excellent location in Siena! The inn is very nice and clean, and the staff was friendly. Being so close to the Campo and on a busy street, it could get a little noisy. The windows were good at keeping out much of the noise, but if you're a light sleeper, you may prefer a quieter location. Our rooms faced the street, with balconies, so interior rooms would probably be a lot quieter. For me, the biggest negative were the beds. They were VERY firm, which I found to be rather uncomfortable.

I'd booked this in 2020 for a wedding trip and preferred to roll the booking on 2 years--no problem at all. Pietro, who isn't there very much, was very helpful and his recoemmdations for restaurants etc were very good.Because of the key system , access was very easy and because the location is so good it was very easy to pop back when needed. Bit noisy at night-our air conditioning made funny noises so we had to turn it off and the noise outside was loud if the windows were open. No breakfast in the place because of covid so we were given vouchers to use at Nannini just up the street which worked ok. The room was fine and the large bed very comfortable.

Google Translate. We looked for a central B&B for our Tuscany trip and came across Il Corso. The B&B is centrally located, very close to the campo, in the heart of the old town. From here you can reach all destinations in the city. The B&B makes a very good first impression, clean, warm and pleasant. Notes on breakfast to follow, Attention! The owner is very nice and helpful. The B&B gets a big plus because of the possibility of being able to use the toilet and manage your luggage with your own key even after check-out. The accommodation looks very new, tidy and attractive. The room was the highlight. We didn't expect to get such a modern and clean room for this price per night. Big bed, lots of space, rain shower and attention to detail made it perfect. If I go back to Siena I would book here again in a heartbeat. However, the comment on various booking platforms is misleading: There is no "classic" breakfast in the B&B. There is the possibility to get fresh filtered water, coffee and espresso as well as small sweets and croissants: a typical Italian breakfast. But that doesn't lead to a point deduction for me, because the service isn't listed on the website either. I still recommend a coffee with a croissant on the small terrace, which you can reach via a small door - I really enjoyed that. Location, presentation and cleanliness prevail here. Those who place particular value on an extensive breakfast are best off looking for a place to go in the city. However, I would not change the B&B Il Corso. Hopefully we'll find a place here again next time we're in Siena!

Piccolo B&B completamente ristrutturato in pieno centro storico, a due passi da qualsiasi cosa uno voglia visitare a Siena. Il proprietario, Pietro, estremamente gentile, disponibile, paziente nall’accoglienza e assistenza per tutta la durata del soggiorno. La signora che si occupa delle camere è talmente gentile che ti spiace non incontrarla quando esci la mattina. Assolutamente consigliato!

Grazie a Pietro e alle sue indicazioni ho potuto conoscere posti dove mangiare come "Gino Cacino" e tanti altri. Ho ricevuto tutte le info prima dell'arrivo e ad accoglierci abbiamo trovato Natali che ci ha seguito e coccolato tutta la durata del soggiorno in modo impeccabile! Hanno servizio di deposito bagagli sia all'arrivo prima di avere la stanza, se raggiungete il centro troppo presto, sia alla partenza! Biancheria, letti e cuscini impeccabili e camera calda e super insonorizzata. Spiace solo non poter far colazione lì perché sono sicura sarebbe altrettanto impeccabile. Abbiamo provato la pasticceria Nannini a due passi ed è spettacolare. Utilissima la brocca di vetro in camera e la possibilità di rifornire acqua a qualunque ora. Posizione centrale e facile da raggiungere. Insomma siamo stati benissimo e torneremo sicuramente! Grazie mille

Wir waren auf unserer Toskana Reise drei Nächte in diesem B&B. Es liegt sehr zentral mitten in der Stadt. Vom Bahnhof aus ist es etwa 30 Minuten zu Fuss oder mit dem Taxi (wir haben 11 Euro bezahlt) Herzlicher Empfang und es gab viele Infos und Insider Tipps. Unser Zimmer bestand aus zwei Räumen und einem Balkon. Es gab gratis Wasserautomat und Kaffee. In der Nacht war es etwas laut (Freitag und Samstag Nacht). Ein wenig mühsam war es, dass man den Schlüsselbund mit drei Schlüssel mitnehmen musste (Haustüre, Wohnung, Zimmer) Wir fanden es etwas speziell, dass das Frühstück (in einem B&B) nicht im Haus war. Es war ein paar Türen weiter im Nannini. Es gab nur ein Getränk, ein Brioche und einen Saft. Absitzen durfte man nicht. Wir fanden, dieses Frühstück hätte das B&B auch anbieten können. Aus dem Grund gibt es nur vier Punkte.
