The lobby looks great and the bar is great. External facilities are nice. However the 3 days of breakfast was cold daily. It was like the food was prepared long ago and left on the table to be served. We came to breakfast at 730 830 and 1030 but whichever time we came the food was very cold and kinda blend. Even the nasi lemak was only lukewarm and the bread was hard likely due to air exposure. Very disappointed. We hoped for hot food for breakfast.
On to the room experience, the of the 3 room window, 2 were externally whiten and looks like some kind of mold or something grown outside the window which blocks the view and gives an unpleasant feeling. In the toilet the bathtub has black stains and the shower tray area, the wall seals were blacken. We didn’t use the bathtub at all.
Overall we will not recommend anyone to stay there or eat there. Just enjoy the lobby and the bar will do. That is the best they have to offer.

Fast checkin and friendly front desk staff.
Spacious room, even looks aged but everything are well maintained.. Awesome bed, KO once lay down..
Our room have loose taps heard the dripping of water whole night, good sound proof so not noisy even beside busy road.
Cosy and relaxing, very nice swimming pool area too.
Suitable for family, couples or even loner.
Surrounded by affordable foods and drinks. Recommended .

1. There was a delay on registration so felt a bit cheated on the duration of the stay. But no choice as they got some inspection ongoing.
2. There was a small blood stain on the bedsheet but they decide to change the room for us.
Facilities wise are good. Location is fantastic and you can choose your pick for munchies along the road or hop over the 100am for shopping / dining. I do recommend it if u wish to bring your family down as it is quite convenient to walk around town and shopping. Totally recommend it for staycation if u r fine with staying in n chillax or shop lightly next door.

Book a Premier executive room for honeymoon over the weekends.
Upon reaching the counter, huge crowd was observed. Was told that waiting time is about 2-3hours but Queued for 2 hours and still did not get a room. Reached at 2:30pm and managed to get a room only at 7pm. During check in, we asked if we can check out late to make up for the time lost. They only offer complimentary tea?! After insisting, then they allowed to check out at 4pm. Totally a bad experience. Lots of time wasted just to check in. To the management of Amara, if you are not able to handle huge crowd, please do not launch any promotion or open for Staycation. If you wish to open up, please have a system!! I do not recommend this hotel for staycay now.
*luckily some of the ground staff are nice*

room is huge but old, time to renovate. location is alright with lots of fnb around. however im pretty sure i wont be back in the near future, not until at least the hotel do a uplift.

Location is quite convenient, very near to MRT station (Tanjong Pagar). There are many eateries surrounding the hotel. Next to the hotel, there is a small shopping mall (100AM), there is supermarket, bakery, restaurants.
Room size is big, bed size also very big. There’s bathtub in the bathroom. TV channels ok. The room a bit old and too dim light. Aircon is very cold, even after we off the aircon, it still feel cold. We booked a room for staycation during New Year’s Eve, as it’s walkable to MBS area, so we can walk back from MBS after the countdown party.

The stay was great, the staff was very friendly but currently the hotel is under some renovation works which sometime you will get to hear some knocking and drilling sound in the room and also the level which I stay comes with a 5 steps staircase from the lift lobby to room which cause some inconvenience to carry a big luggage.
