Très bel hôtel, bien rénové, situé en plein centre de Sittard. Rem : le centre de Sittard n’est pas accessible en voiture (les parkings se trouvent en périphérie du centre et n’avions pas été prévenus =＞ 500 m de marche pour arriver à l’hôtel lorsqu’on ne se perd pas 😉). Les abords de l’hôtel sont abandonnés. La chambre était spacieuse et calme ( au bout du couloir) mais très froide (surtout la salle de bain) et la climatisation était bruyante . La literie quant à elle était top. Nous avons passé une très bonne nuit. Le personnel ne parle pas un mot de français ( ni à l’accueil, ni au restaurant) et est assez froid et distant. Les langues parlées sont le néerlandais, l’anglais et l’allemand. Le menu du restaurant gastronomique n’était trop à notre goût =＞ nous avons été un peu déçus. Le petit déjeuner était très bien et varié (croissants, céréales, charcuterie, fromage, saumon , œufs, myrtilles, fraises, melon et ananas frais, ….), il manquait juste des petits pains au chocolat 😜. Nous avons été fort surpris du montant des taxes de séjour 5€/jour/ personne . Nous avons trouvé cela fort élevé.

Great central location and terrific value for money. My room was split- level and really well-appointed. Friendly staff too and, all over, a great experience even although I was only there for one night. Would be a great place to base yourself for the surrounding area.

High quality conversion of a religious building right in the centre of town. Lovely friendly staff, high quality food and drink, big bedrooms with high ceilings. Just one point deducted for dark gloomy decor. If you have huge bedrooms and windowless corridors, why paint them so dark and have the cupboard three metres in the air? Also, the unisex toilets in the lobby, where women have to endure male levels of hygiene. I know it’s trendy, but it’s not nice.

I definitely recommend Merci hotel, i had a great experience and a very good time staying there with amazing service and very friendly people and close to the center city of Sittart. You should definitely visit !!🙌🏻😃

Lovely and special hotel in city centre (converted monastery) with friendly staff and very clean rooms! Prices are a bit high for overall experience, current charged tourist tax by hotel is way higher than it really is [charged 5,- pppn, it really is 2,35 pppn), hotel could try to put you in a comfort room when a superior room is booked. Parking is too expensive, 5 walking minutes out of the ccity centre you park for free (Sittard is a small town). Buffet breakfast is too expensive for what it actually is, The bathrooms are mostly open plan.

nice to stay in the centre of Sittard, just a few steps away for the market and centre, you don't have the feeling at all that this hotel is in the centre. perfect if you want to visit germany, many shopping possibilities in Sittard.

We had a nice stay in Sittard for 2 night. The Hotel was in the center of Sittard near the marketplace and has a lovely history of a Roman Catholic convent for nuns. Sittard is a nice medieval town with nice shops and restaurants.

Very nice looking modern hotel in the center of Sittard with friendly service. A nearby parking place. Good food and a nice big room (superior room). The bed was on the hard side and the pillows were bad

Very nice stay and awesome dinner at George’s was the best. Breakfirst the next day was also Very Nice. Good price and parking (in the big garage) is good. If you want to be away for a day this is the place to be
