Southview Park Hotel

No complaints what so ever about my one night stay at Southview...had a small problem with the loo which was fixed immediately after contacting reception.The receptionist 'Sammi' asked relevant questions and efficiently informed both Maintainance and the Dity manager stressing the need for remedial action and this was delivered before I could finish my drink. I do have to praise this receptionist, as later after returning from a mmeting I was just too late for a meal,but she asked the Kitchen manager and the chef 'put up' up a hot Toastie sandwich for me. The hotel,I found to be clean and bright,as was my room... but the breakfast was smashing!

We arrived to a man urinating outside the hotel. The rooms have paper thin walls so you kept awake all night by your neighbours if you are unlucky enough to have noisy ones. The shower gel on the wall was empty and the shower itself was so close to the wall that it was difficult to get under it plus it kept going hot and cold. Breakfast itself was fine although very limited selection on some items eg cereals and yoghurts choice of two in both cases. They kept running out of cutlery and cups & plates and there was a long queue waiting to go in for this reason and not for a lack of tables. They seemed very short staffed in this area adding to the delays. Not our most pleasant overnight stay.

Great family park with lots to do for all the family. Skegness just a shirt drive away with plenty ti do on our rainy week away....the staff are so friendly and helpful and the troupers so good with the audience...the female troupers are amazing singers and dancers

Excellent owners breakfast, good food, good company and great service by Davey. Attentive, friendly, helpful and always has such a happy smile on his face. Thank you to all that put these events on for us also would also like to pass my compliments to the Chef as the breakfast was delicious.

I booked a stay at this hotel for 3 nights, in which the stay was fantastic, excellent rooms and location, great customer service. We booked for breakfast which was also lovely. However I was disappointed at the prices for the show bar on site £22 for 2 vodka slushes which is a little bit extreme due to this we decided to spend our last evening in ingoldmells unfortunately this did leave us stranded as there were no Ubers and a long taxi wait. When we finally did get back to the hotel that night we obviously found the front reception door shut which obviously isn’t a problem. however there were a doorbell to ring for the night service but unfortunately this was broken, my parter phoned the hotel multiple of times but no answer and we also knocked very loudly when we did finally get in the night guard wasn’t very pleasant and blamed the reasoning is because she had things to do around the back. This left us feeling very let down that the last evening of our holiday ended like this as we did not pay £315 to be left stranded outside the hotel for around 30 minuite after midnight.

Thanks for a great stay Sammy and Sumat. Very professional and a friendly welcome. The food here is very good and very well priced as well. Found my room very clean and spacious. I had a great nights sleep as my bed was amazing. Breakfast to round my stay off was perfect.

Excellent stay at the Southview again. Staff are extremely professional and friendly. Sumat on reception always very helpful. I stay regularly at the Southview for business and pleasure. Highly recommend this hotel, always a friendly welcome and looked after by great staff.

Last minute booking for work and what a lovely location with views to the lakes. My room was very clean and had all i needed for my stay. Breakfast had a great selection for a buffet style breakfast. Friendly staff but a special mention to Rachel who was very helpful ,nothing was too much trouble.

We really enjoyed our 3 day break at Southview. Loads to do on site for the kids and the ladies on reception are so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for Sumat, Caroline and Charlie. Beds are so comfy and plenty of choice at breakfast. We would definitely return.
