Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Smithfield-Selma, NC

Nous avions la suite King. Le service était bon ! Les dames de la réception étaient très agréables. L'esthétique du bâtiment était excellente. La circulation piétonnière était un peu schématique. La piscine était fermée, ce qui ****** car notre visite avait lieu fin juillet et la climatisation était en panne dans le hall et les ascenseurs. Cela aurait été cool d'en profiter après une après-midi aux magasins d'usine ou une baignade nocturne après le dîner. Il n'y avait pas de serviettes supplémentaires, pas de serviettes de toilette à poser sur le sol devant la douche et pas de sacs poubelles d'aucune sorte. La réception nous a dit qu'ils étaient complètement sortis. Soyez prudent sous la douche ! C'est incroyablement glissant !

For starters and the good part of the stay, the beds are not bad. As for the cons, I do not think this place lives up to Radisson standards. Very dirty, and fowl smells. Pool is not operational, no breakfast available (only bags with a muffin, orange, bottle of water) available at front desk. No comfortable outside seating area and limited staff available. Front desk staff is poor at best. Our room (217) did not have proper water temperature in the shower, it was either ice cold or scolding hot, I had to take cold showers, I initially thought it was just me, until my girlfriend came out with red skin and also complained of the scolding hot water and couldn't even finish rinsing her hair; as I was reviewing property reviews I found another review complaining of this (see photos). Also missing a curtain. In closing, found all kinds of good stuff under the bed and stands including open food bags, ebt cards from previous guests, etc. I requested a refund within 20 mins of being here and it was declined, so I made the best of it. I will never stay at a Radisson property again. There are 5 hotels immediately surrounding this place, I highly recommend you look into them. The excuse for everything in this place was they are waiting for the inspection to open up completely. The reviews all seem to be the same as of late. I doubt it take over a month for an inspection. I would like to also add, the other 5 properties must have had their inspections as their pools are operational and they are servi g food.

Clean, comfortable bed and very nice bathroom. Will stay again!
