Hidden Beach Resort Au Naturel Adults Only Catamarán, Cenote & More Inclusive

We have been going here for many years. Service this time, as always was amazing. The waiters,Arnulfo,Angel ,Aniceto, Noel,and at night,Galdini,and especially Ricardo. Ricardo always remembers our Baileys and coffee even at the Gala and Mexican night. Bartenders are ok but we really want Alberto and especially Pedro back. I don't know why he got stuck in the Moonlight but us volleyballers need him back. He's the only one that can quickly handle a request for 20 mini beers in between games, or the onslaught of 20 people all at once looking for drinks in between games . He handles the ball crashing into the bar with a smile, and has that tequila shot ready immediately for the offender. These talents are wasted in the Moonlight but much needed in the pool. The entertainment is, as always, mediocre. Lots of acrobats. Katrina acrobats, glow night acrobats, circus acrobats. A couple of good rock bands. They have tenors on Sunday . We personality don't like them and eat off site . Others seem to enjoy them. Restaurants next door are all good, but I prefer La Vista. Martha who makes morning tacos and afternoon grill is absolutely wonderful. So friendly, helpful, and the best cook ever! The new volleyball rules are great. The games are much more fun, and safer with no more injuries. Carlos and Fernanda both do a good job organizing, and trying to keep the games from becoming too aggressive. You need to be up early for a chair poolside if the place is full capacity. The rooms are acceptable. Good size, very clean, very comfortable beds. Furniture is dated, but functional. Lighting has improved, but still needs help. Water in shower always a problem. Runs hot, then suddenly cold, then hot. Pressure is better than it was. A huge shout out to Ula who will magically solve any problem, and Eleasin who sings beautifully at the Gala and also solves any room, or reservation problems. They are both just great, cannot say enough good things about them, and totally make our stay seamless. ,

We are members and visit this resort yearly. We always have a great time with friendly guests and great staff. All of the waiters are amazing. Bartenders fantastic. Esperanza gives the best bar service ever. Ula and Eleasin are wonderful , can't ssy enough good things about them. Place is immaculate. Volleyball is great fun and the activities directors are doing a great job of curbing aggressive play and keeping the games fun and friendly. I like that chairs are ready with umbrellas set up before 6am daily. That's the 3 stars. There Thanksgiving dinner which we have attended for years went downhill big time. Instead of a fresh carved turkey and cranberries, gravy, and sweet potatoes at the buffet, we were told if we wanted turkey , they would bring it. We got this dry turkey breast rolled with cranberries and a couple of squirts of sweet potatoes. I eat only the dark meat, but we all agreed this was gross. We made our feelings clear to the chef and hoping they will improve next year. Then the rooms. They are big enough ,but need help. Basically, they are dark with very little lighting. Even with every light on, its just dark. The beds are very comfortable but they changed the pillows to the giant things that nobody liked and the duvets weighed a ton. We removed them and just used sheets. Everyone was complaining about how heavy they were. Then the plumbing. Many complaining of low pressure in shower. Our toilet worked so poorly we got our room changed. Others had similar issues ,sometimes flushing , sometimes not. They recently replaced all the doors and locks. They are nice but nobody cares about that. The old doors were fine. Guests want comfortable bedding , good lighting , and plumbing that works properly. So for all of that , I took away 2 stars from my usual 5. The restaurant has good food, very accomodating to special diets. I would not recommend any of the off-site restaurants. The service was poor and food as well.

Amamos el lugar y en especial al personal que hacen de tu estancia muy especial. Muchas gracias a Fernanda, Esperanza,Pedro, Ángel,Nathaniel y en general todos. Lo que hay que mejorar son las recamaras y las instalaciones parece que se están cayendo. También la noche mexicana es muy muy mala.

Very welcoming attitude toward all. Resort staff takes care of you just like family very pleasant, remembers your name and your likes and dislikes and any allergies you might have. Entertainment staff keeps you busy with different activities and of course famous water volleyball. Performers are excellent and different for all ages. We only like coming here instead of other resorts due to staff have become like our family. No matter what shape or size you are everyone is welcome.

If I could rate higher than excellent, I would. The word that comes to mind is….Superb! The staff makes you feel special and their attention to detail far surpassed anything my wife and I have ever experienced. I simply cannot find the right words to express how delighted we are!

We are here at Hidden Beach Resort having a fantastic vacation for our second year! Great service from the staff including Anecieto, Angel, Anulfo, Galdino, David in La Vista - everyone really. They're very friendly and get to know us. Karen & Rosario in the spa are great, Fernanda has Carlos taught well, Ula's awesome! Food and drink has been unbelievable! Still here, gotta go have fun!
