Villa Silvana Relais

This was by far the best accommodations we have stayed at in Italy. Every single detail was thoroughly thought through. The staff, the property, the room…absolutely perfect! Caterina, the owner, made us feel like royalty. She gave us great recommendations for dinner and places to go. The breakfast that is served is amazing! Rest assured you won’t leave hungry! We highly recommend you check this place out.

I cannot say enough kind words about Villa Silvana. This villa exceeded all of my expectations. The staff, Dino & Julia, were incredibly kind and helpful. The rooms are clean, spacious, and beautiful. We had a maintenance request and they were quick to fix the problem and happy to do it. The breakfast by Daniella is delightful — make sure you get the breakfast every morning. The property is tucked far enough away from the street that you don’t hear the noise. But it is still just a few walking minutes away from the central shopping areas. If you are debating booking your stay or event here, book it!! This is the best Sorrento has to offer. I would travel to Sorrento again just so I can stay here again.

My wife and I just spent five terrific days in beautiful Sorrento, our time there made all the better by the fact we chose to stay at the Villa Silvana Relais, a gorgeous, very quiet and very peaceful hotel that fronts the Bay of Naples. Our room was elegant with wonderful views, and the breakfasts were fantastic (and I now have the extra pounds to prove it). The hotel is centrally located to Sorrento's teeming downtown area, and all of the shops and restaurants you will find there. The hotel also sits just above Sorrento's harbor, which means quick and easy access to the many ferries that can take you to Naples, Capri, and towns along the Amalfi Coast. The Villa Silvana Relais is not a large and bustling hotel owned by a chain. It is small, less than ten rooms I believe, and quiet; perhaps it's best classified as a boutique hotel. And therein lies its charm. It is tastefully run by the family which owns it, and the people who work there, including Giulia and Daniella, were warm, kind, attentive and welcoming. Thanks to both Giulia and Daniella for helping to make our stay so enjoyable.

This property is amazing. We stayed at the Ginebra suite. I was speechless when I walked in. The views , the size and the huge terraces. Everything is perfect. Now the service and attention to details is out of this world. I want to thank Dieguito and the girls for all their help. We will be back.

My new wife Sarah and myself have recently got married in Sorrento and had our day and night time at the Villa Silvana. We should have got married in 2020 but because of Covid it was rescheduled twice to this year. The story started in 2018 when we met Lee who is the Wedding Planner for the Silvana, Lee is excellent and has become a close friend through the last 4 years. A massive plus is Lee is Scottish and therefore anyone from the UK thinking about getting married should contact Lee, she is brilliant. On our special day Lee was with us from the start to the finish with her team who provided a fantastic day and experience. We had a total of 37 guests who were blown away with the Silvana, the food and organisation from Lee and her team was so brilliant. The Silvana also has 7 individual rooms which we used for our family and then had a family breakfast, again it was a fantastic experience. The bridal suite is unreal and over two levels, we were speechless when we opened the door. We are defiantly going back for our Wedding Anniversary and to thank Lee again.

From the moment we walked in, we were blown away with how beautiful this place was and were immediately felt welcomed. Then when we saw our room, all our expectations were exceeded x100. It was absolutely terrific, the terrace we had was enormous and incredible, spotlessly clean and I could not fault anything. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with so much choice, served up by Jack who was such a great host. All the staff were friendly and incredibly helpful and generous. Giulia and we didn’t catch the other lady’s name (Martina maybe?).. but they were both delightful. This is one of not THE best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s absolutely beautiful, including all of the grounds, the location is perfect, 5 mins from the train station and the centre and we would stay here again in a heartbeat. I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

Fantastic property. As beautiful and well-maintained as the pictures. The location is perfect, right on the bay, and a short walk to the center of town. You will be treated like royalty. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Well worth the price!

Loved our stay! We received a warm welcome at arrival. The receptionist offered to store our suitcases as we arrived around 10 am and we had a day trip planned to Capri. We loved our room, the bes was super comfortable and the bathroom very spacious. Our favorite part was having their delicious and generous breakfast at the terrace overlooking the marina. The staff was very friendly and gave good recommendations. Would love to come back!

Wow …. what a lovely villa. I rate them better as all 5 star hotels in Sorrento. Very modern interior design, highest quality furniture and very competent staff. This at check-in and for breakfast services. We even canceled a hotel reservation in Naples before our departure to be able to stay there again for another night. Parking is opposite the hotel and the old town is within walking distance. I often stay at hotels and the experience at Villa Silvana was simply top! Grazie molto for everything!
