Horrible experience. Showed up half hour early prior to check in and left standing in rain with luggage by the street side with them refusing to open gate to allow us to leave luggage and allow us to tour around a bit. When we checked in, they promptly charged us tourist tax and took us to a room where they had placed our luggage. We immediately realize that the A/C was broken and they had already placed a small portable unit that required the patio door to remain open. This was a great concern because of mosquitos which had already started flying around room. We promptly cancelled our reservation and booked another hotel. We had not even emptied our bags. They failed to inform us of this defect and were unapologetic and refused to refund us our money. They were simply deceitful and unapologetic.

Visited yesterday sept 22nd for the evening, was a last minute booking and the staff were so accommodating! Unfortunately I have the worst memory and I have forgotten the name of the lady that welcomed us, however when we arrived we were welcomed with a fresh glass of lemon and mint water, showed to our room and enjoyed such a warm welcome. We later found they had issues with the AC And I mentioned this to the lady that welcomed us when we went out for the today and to my surprise when we arrived back in the evening they had hired out a portable air conditioner unit just for our room to ensure we got a good night sleep in the heat! Breakfast was lovely, room was clean and tidy, not a long walk to Sorrento town centre. Would happily recommend to anyone visiting.

Air conditioning did not work at all. When we checked in we were told it was working, then we were told it would be fixed, but it never was. A portable A/C was put in the room, but the door needed to be open and unlocked for the night. Staff seemed dishonest regarding this problem and refused to provide any reimbursement. She seemed greedy and dishonest. We were very disappointed and happy to leave the next morning.

Enjoyed a lovely week here , very clean , extremely comfortable bed and nice shower. Continental breakfast especially croissants was very nice, the area is extremely quiet, a lovely 10/15 mins stroll from central sorrento. Staff were very friendly. We are in our late 50’s and walked with large suitcases to train station on departure to get bus to airport (€10 each, brings you directly to airport) would definitely return

Fantastic small Family run hotel, right in the heart of Sorrento, just a short level walk to the town plaza. Very well equiped rooms with state of the arg finishings and fittings, breakfast was on the veranda with all freshly made continental breakfast included. Beautiful setting and really well run property, we would highly recommend.

We were met and greeted on arrival by Bernedita who spoke good English and couldn’t be more helpful to us, she invited us to sit down and relax outside and brought us a welcome drink made with the fruit grown in their garden, she helped us with our bags and showed us to our gorgeous boutique bedroom. The room was well decorated, modern, air-conditioned with a comfortable bed, balcony and excellent bathroom with chroma colour controlled lighting. The inclusive breakfast was again superb, tomatoes grown from their garden, the croissants were some of the nicest I’ve ever had, fresh and fluffy, delicious. We couldn’t fault the hotel at all and would have loved to have stayed the entire week, we’d thoroughly recommend the hotel to anyone, thank you so much for brightening our honeymoon! We stayed a few nights in July 2022. The hotel is a short, pleasant walk (with some fine views along the way) from the centre of Sorrento. The rooms are well appointed and stylish, if not enormous. Breakfast was EXCELLENT each day. My room had a balcony, although I didn't really use it. In terms of public areas there's a solarium on the roof with nice views, or a shady terrace downstairs with sofas and a cat — a lovely place to sit and gaze at the lemon trees and, in my case, wish I lived in a warmer country haha. The proprietor was extremely helpful with our questions. I hope to return as soon as possible!

Villa Cettina is a perfect escape from hustle and bustle of Sorrento. The garden is very relaxing, it was a little oasis to us where you can stay away from thousands of loud tourists and non stop traffic noise. The big room with the terrace is the best. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They made us feel very comfortable.

Villa Cettina is a small building with a little beautiful garden where lemons grow. It is only a 10 minutes walk to the city centre of Sorrento and the Circumvesuviana train and bus station, about 20 to the harbour where the ferries go to Capri, Ischia etc. The Hotel is brand new and was opened in 2021. The rooms are very modern, comfortable and have also a small balcony. The area around the hotel is quiet and you don't hear anything of the traffic outside on the streets. The staff is very friendly. Benedetta helped us a lot and gave us many information regarding excursions and other things. We also got a fresh lemon juice from the garden when we checked in. We were almost alone in the Villa during out stay. However there was a nice breakfast buffet with delicious neapolitanean cakes etc. We had a wonderful time and can really recommend this hotel.
