MelRose Sorrento

Great B & B. New, super clean, great location, just 15 min from the train terminal. The girl is very helpful and friendly. Very attentive too. Is a must to stay here.

We were in Sorrento for a three day stay and were so glad we booked here. It is conveniently located close enough to the Main Street that it’s a short walk but far enough that it’s quiet and relaxing. We were greeted by the host, Isa, who is the loveliest person you’d ever meet. Breakfast was included and it was amazing. The room itself was clean and air conditioned, perfect during the middle of the day heat! Thanks again Isa, we loved our stay with you!

What beautiful apartments to stay in. The rooms are light and airy,, and lovely attention to detail. The breakfast is easy to organise, you make your choice when you first arrive you can either have the same your whole trip or just inform the owners by WhatsApp. Communication is good with the owner and are willing to offer advice of how to get to places. Located about a 10 minute walk from the termini and 5 minutes from the centre. I would 100% book this accommodation again. Just perfect

May 11th-18th What a fabulous time we had staying at Melrose apartments. Having been to Sorrento previously and stayed in a hotel Melrose was like a breath of fresh air. We were greeted by the host who kept in touch with us once we had landed at the airport and was waiting for us when we arrived. We were greeted by the loveliest of ladies, who was Polite, knowledgeable and was willing to help with suggestions when asked. The apartment was perfect, clean, the shower was amazing and the service was exceptional. Breakfast was delivered to your room at your convenience and time every morning. You could WhatsApp and amendments to what you required each day. The apartment is located about a 10 minute walk from the train station and 5 mins from the centre during the day and night. Book these apartments and you won’t be disappointed

This is a lovely little guest house in a block of apartments close to the centre of Sorrento about 5 min walk from Piazza Tasso. The lovely host met us at the door of the building and was in contact before our trip and as we made our way from the airport. Very informative about the local area and so friendly! We had a fabulous 5days in Sorrento and the Melrose was the perfect base to enjoy the area. The breakfast was traditional and our host bought it to the room each morning which was a real treat. The room was clean and well decorated with beautiful hand painted tiles in the bathroom, memory foam mattress and spacious shower. The Tv had Netflix and we had a kettle for our tea with a mini fridge in the room. The little balcony was lovely over looking a small garden with lemon trees and we were offered a lemonchello on arrival which was delicious! Thank you for a lovely stay. Adrian & Frankie

We have just returned from a two night stay at the Melrose and it was fantastic! As others have mentioned, it is a 4 room small apartment-turned-hotel which was a bit trippy at first due to it being in an apartment block but we had no issues finding the place. It is really conveniently located, just a short 5 minute walk from the circumvesuviana (train station) and a 5 minute walk in to the centre of Sorrento. We had just come from staying two nights in Ercolano and had a not so great experience at a hotel there so we booked the Melrose the night before we arrived and we are so glad we did. Shortly after booking the host messaged us to make sure we were happy with everything and we were even able to make contact via WhatsApp which gave a great personal service. The host, Isa, met us at Melrose at the time we said we would be there and she was very friendly, kind and answered any questions we had. Each morning breakfast was served directly to our door at our requested time and it was delicious. Sorrento itself was a great place to be - but still awfully busy for October! We had a great time and if we do return to Sorrento then we would not hesitate to stay at Melrose again. Thank you Isa!

We had a great 4 night stay here in the middle of May. Isa was a really friendly and welcoming host who prepared a lovely breakfast for us each morning. The room was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities you would need. The location is in a quiet little neighborhood in easy walking distance from the train station and town centre.

A beautiful property with only 4 rooms, perfect! We stayed in a room with a balcony and had our breakfast on the balcony in the morning, wow what a view! Isa was a star, she was so helpful and nothing was too much. She prepared a delicious continental breakfast for us in the morning and served us with a smile for a whole stay. Great location! Only a 10 minute walk from the main bus station and a 7-10 minute walk into the main *****. Will definitely be back here next time we’re back in Sorrento, we were only here for 1 night but wish we stayed longer!
