Incredible food served by friendly and lovely staff. We were all -including 8 month old baby and 3 year old cocker spaniel warmly welcomed. Great roast and the brownie was divine. Thank you so much to Luke and Bella. We had a lovely walk through the deer park to get there and will come again soon!

Thanks for a very tasty meal last night, great to be able to find gluten free fish and chips and a vegan burger option that was a cut above standard pub fare. The Wheatsheaf is a really lovely pub and a big thank you Taya and Lucie for great service.

Popped in for a quick bite before our walk today. Didn’t have a reservation but the staff were lovely to seat us quickly with no waiting or fuss. Best chips I’ve ever had and Bella was so kind and welcoming and gave our pup loads of treats! Will be sure to come back soon

Another excellent lunch at the Wheatsheaf. A warm welcome and excellent service from Lucie and Taya. The food was excellent and the ambience was very comfortable! Nothing was too much trouble. I can thoroughly recommend the Wheatsheaf, for the very high standards that it upholds. Thank you

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. The beer was good and the food was excellent. The plaice special was huge and really good quality. The triple cooked chips are great. Taya served us and she was friendly, attentive and quick. Can't fault the place or the staff.

The food was amazing, there was a great a**osphere and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Lucy was particularly helpful and informative about the local area. She made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend staying and eating here.

We went to the Wheatsheaf at Chris**as and we were blown away by excellent service by friendly staff and lovely food and drink. Lucie was very attentive and ensured our time was perfect, she is a brilliant manager. I highly recommend this lovely country pub if you’re passing. I rate our experience at 10/10 👍

What a great place. The family really enjoyed everything, the food, the drinks and especially the staff. Lucie was brilliant and a true asset to the bar 👍 Thanks again, we will definitely be back and might even bring our cricket team on tour as discussed.

Had a great meal with the family upstairs just right for children and adults, 10 of us. Thank you to all the staff, Katie, Lucie & Adrian plus the chef, hope I've not left anyone out! We will be back
