UUtilisateur anonymeI am a customer living in 407 on 9th of November in Holiday Inn Express & Suites Calgary NW - University Area, an IHG Hotel.
. I am writing to complain the lady on the front desk. She treated me not respectful. When we checked in, I am asking if we have hot spring, she replied several what? And correct me “hot tub” such as I am lack of knowledge.
Later, I want to use Landry room and change dollars with them. They gave me several two dollars, and the washing machines only accept 1 dollars, which they should have known at first place. So I went back to the front desk to ask for 1 dollars again. And at that time. There is one guy lining in front of another front desk server. And the lady was answering the phone. So I naturally stood in front of her desk and waited for her. And I asked her to change 1 dollars for me since they didn’t know. And then she asked me” don’t u notice there is a line? You should wait after it.” So I was so embarrassed to find out I cut in line.
So if she is really mindful about me cutting in line, Why not telling me to wait after? Or just remind me in a more respectful way assuming I really don’t know there is a line? Either way will have same effect and I would be acknowledged in a not embarrassing way. And again, the washing machine only accept 1 dollar and they did not know, is their job dereliction.
I am very concerned how your service match up with your high level of fees.

IInvitéIt’s the best for a person who has overnight layover! Like they are trained for that specifically.
Free shuttle bus any time is real! But I couldn’t contact them by email though. Gotta call them, hope they fix that, I emailed a lot prior to my trip too.
And the staffs are so kind that it made me feel safe and secure that I will not miss my flight 😌
If you have to leave early for flight before breakfast time. They will give you muffins and apples!
The room was so big and nice, I wish I didn’t have the flight to catch so I can keep sleeping in that humungous king bed.
There’s an atm at the lobby.

IInvitéOn the website we chose a room with a jacuzzi, but when we checked in, it turned out that the room was given without it. My husband and I were not happy because we expected one thing, but it was completely different. Moreover, the price was higher than a regular room. At the reception, the man did not want to clarify this issue and said that it was all the fault of the people who put false information on the website. There was no tea in the room, only coffee, which I don't drink at all. There was no ordinary water. Also, when we went to bed, we turned on the heat, because the room was cold, but when we woke up in the morning, our noses were stuffy and the air conditioner was working very loudly, and we realized that it was working all night, it was cold. There were no things like bathrobes or slippers in the room, which also outraged us. In general, the hotel did not make a great impression and satisfaction that we would have liked.

IInvitéThe bed was much too hard. The air conditioning unit kept switching itself from warm to freezing even though I had it on the heat-only setting. The housekeeping team tried to come in and clean my room 45mins before I was scheduled to check-out.
Then my keycard was deactivated 10 minutes before checkout time so I was locked out when I returned from breakfast and had to go down to the front desk to get it fixed. The first lady at reception said she’d reactivated my keycard, so I went back upstairs and was still locked out, and the elevator was far too slow and I didn’t want to get penalised for checking out late, so I had to walk down the stairs (which were very difficult to find!) then a second lady gave me a different, new keycard to get back into my room, then I had to walk back up the stairs again and was finally able to get my luggage and check out. Overall it was a pretty bad experience.

IInvitéAu début, je n'avais pas assez de facilités, mais quand je l'ai dit à la réception, il était prêt à me le donner. Tous les employés étaient très aimables, surtout les nettoyeurs de nuit. Il m'a dit qu'il avait des problèmes et qu'il m'a dit gentilment la position de la chambre.

IInvitéI was a bit nervous after reading some other reviews, but I need not have been. My room was spacious, the bed comfy and the pillows plentiful. My 11 year old grandson, who visited during my stay, gives the pool and waterside a huge thumbs up. His mother, sister and I enjoyed the hot tub while he splashed alone.
Breakfast was a bounty! Although I am limited by multiple food allergies, I found more than enough to eat and enjoyed my 2 breakfasts.
When I first arrived in my assigned room, I discovered a tool on the floor and a dismantled A/C unit. Before I had time to wonder, a repairman was at the door, apologetic that I had arrived before he could complete his maintenance. He immediately arranged for me to switch to a different room, and all was well.
Desk staff were all cordial, helpful, friendly. I have absolutely no complaints about my stay and highly recommend others to ignore naysayers and give it a try. I would be happy for a return visit if opportunity arises. Many thanks for a great stay.

UUtilisateur anonymeThe hotel may not be rated 5 stars on the web, but the comfort, central location, safety, price, staff's efficiency and service is more than 5 stars. I would come here again without hesitation.
The walls and floors are concrete, sound proof,ample parking, walking distance to many stores and restaurants. Also on main bus route. Beds are really comfortable, has a fridge, microwave, fridge, coffee pot, free internet, great selection of TV channels, and a swimming pool. What more can anyone ask for?

JJames Y. HuangExcellent rapport qualité-prix pour un court séjour près de l'aéroport YYC, avec un accès facile depuis la route principale Barlow Trail NE. L'entrée principale est un peu déroutante si l'on arrive par la zone industrielle à l'arrière.
Le personnel était aimable et professionnel. Le dépôt de garantie et le nombre de personnes présentes sur place sont les conditions habituelles.
La chambre était très spacieuse et propre, bien qu'un peu vieillotte. La climatisation était un peu plus bruyante que prévu, mais cela n'a pas empêché le bruit de la climatisation de ne pas s'éteindre. Je n'ai pas eu le temps d'utiliser les installations (piscine et salle de sport).
