Our stay at La Chiusa Delle Monache was truly special. The property feels like a beautiful home, full of charm and character. We stayed in the former horse’s house, thoughtfully transformed into a cozy and unique B&B—it was both comfortable and full of personality. This is a genuine family-run place, and you can feel it in every detail. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, offering insightful tips about the area that made our visit even better. The whole family—mom, dad, and everyone—helps run the place, creating a warm, homey atmosphere. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the homemade pastries from the mother’s recipe—absolutely delicious and easily my favorite part of the stay. As a thoughtful touch, she even gave us leftover pastries to take on the road, which we truly appreciated. A heartfelt experience from start to finish—very impressive and highly recommended.

La proprietaria Valentina è stata gentilissima e super disponibile a fornire qualsiasi info. La stanza era molto spaziosa, pulita, letto comodo, tv, bagno moderno, aria condizionata. Possibilità di mangiare qualche snack in una soffitta facendosi un caffè o un tè e, comodissimo soprattutto in estate, un dispenser di acqua fredda! La soffitta si affaccia sulla bellissima Piazza Anfiteatro. Unico difetto, proprio il condizionatore era un po' rumoroso. Niente di insopportabile comunque

Nous avons eu un excellent séjour à Lucca! Monica était super gentille et bienvenue. La chambre était excellente, avec une vue magnifique sur la Piazza dell'Anfiteatro. Confortable lit, très bonne douche, et climatisation qui a fait le séjour encore mieux. La location ne pouvait pas être plus parfaite. Conseil pour les futurs clients : garez votre voiture à Parkeggio Mazzini (à proximité de Porta Santa Maria). Merci, Monica! 🌟

La ville est très bien située, à quelques pas de la ville, et le parking est très bon.

I love this adorable b&b. Super close to Via Fillungo for shopping and right in the heart of this beautiful walled city. So many bars and restaurants very close. The owners are so lovely and I did not want for anything. Breakfast was delicious with eggs cooked your way. Some meats and cheeses and cereals. Plenty to eat and great coffee. You get a discount on the Puccini opera if you book through the hotel and I heartily recommend you go. I went three times.

Posizione dell’alloggio in pieno centro, la signora molto gentile e cordiale. Unica pecca la pulizia della stanza lasciava un po’ a desiderare per via della polvere.

Had a great 3-night stay here in September 2026! The hotel is lots of rustic charm and character. Our room has spacious, good AC and modern bathroom. The swimming pool was big and lots of available sun loungers as the hotel was not too busy. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We did not have a car, but the hotel is a about a 10 minute walk to the nearby  village where you can catch a bus to Lucca and Florence (these come about 1-2 times an hour). Breakfast was okay, but our highlight was the hotel dinner service! The food was amazing, great wine and lovely vibe sitting outdoors. If you stay here, definitely have dinner at the hotel! 

Certains nettoient l'assainissement quotidien, mais les salles de bain et leurs salles de bains sont inconfortables. Il y a un petit-déjeuner simple et un café, mais le petit-déjeuner est sans verdure ou salade. L'hiver est froid, le chauffage se ferme à minuit, je ne comprends pas pourquoi, mais il peut être remplacé par un climatisation. L'entrée et la salle de stationnement sont très riches en eau après la pluie.
