Un charmant petit hôtel situé en plein cœur du vieux Sarajevo. Un petit-déjeuner correct, une vue magnifique depuis la fenêtre, un parking gratuit et un personnel d'accueil sympathique sont des atouts indéniables. Seul bémol : l'odeur de cigarette qui imprègne la chambre à travers la hotte.

I travelled to Sarajevo with my two sisters. However, the apartment was extremely spacious and big enough for a large family. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. There were plenty of TV's, there were sufficient facilities that we could make our own breakfast in the mornings. The location was around a 15 minute walk from old town, this was close enough - we could walk there and the neighborhood was nice and quiet, there were also nice places to eat close by as well as a small grocery shop we could buy a few bits from. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and the comfortable apartment played a role in this.

Our stay at Hotel Aziza was pleasant overall. The reception staff, especially the lady at the front desk, was very kind and went out of her way to help us get to the pharmacy and return safely — truly appreciated her assistance. The hotel staff in general were responsive and quick to attend to our requests. The location is close to the Old City, which makes it convenient for sightseeing. However, it’s situated on a steep hill, so walking up can be quite challenging, especially after a long day. Breakfast was simple and could be improved — the selection was limited, and the fruits were not very fresh. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly service and a great location for exploring Sarajevo, but be prepared for the uphill walk and modest breakfast.

L'hôtel est très cool, nous l'aimons. Une fille cool sur la respiration qui nous a aidé dans tout. À la fin du séjour nous avons demandé de téléphoner un taxi, nous avons également été aidés avec elle. Ils vivaient au 14e étage, de là, des vues de classe ouverte à la ville (pas directement très pittoresque, mais les montagnes sont de classe 😍). Les petits-déjeuners sont délicieux, il y a beaucoup de choix : il y avait toujours des légumes, des œufs (une fois, l'ombre était très brûlé et terriblement dégustable), des fourrages, des fruits frais) La seule chose qui ne voulait pas était que à la répétition, quand nous étions habités, on nous a dit que le petit déjeuner commence à 6 h. Nous devions partir tôt pour un tour, donc nous sommes arrivés pour le petit déjeuner à l'ouverture (6h15). Il y avait déjà plusieurs plats, mais les machines à café étaient désactivées (il n'y avait donc pas d'eau chaude pour le thé aussi). Une femme marche et couvre la nourriture, je lui demandais si elle pouvait au moins faire du thé, elle m'a complètement ignorée, fait un visage insatisfait et a laissé le camp.

J'avais choisi une chambre économique simple car je voyageais seule, mais en entrant, j'ai trouvé des insectes. Ensuite, je suis allée aux toilettes et elles étaient sales, avec des cheveux et des taches. J'ai laissé mon sac et suis sortie explorer les environs, et j'ai signalé le problème à la réception. Je ne sais pas s'ils ont compris, mais quand je suis revenue plusieurs heures plus tard, elles n'avaient toujours pas été nettoyées. Ce fut une très mauvaise expérience ; j'ai dû les nettoyer moi-même. Si vous choisissez une chambre économique, ne vous attendez pas à beaucoup de confort, mais cela restait acceptable. L'hôtel est très bien situé, à une minute à pied de la rue commerçante principale. L'hôtel en lui-même est magnifique, mais ma chambre était presque insalubre. Les petits déjeuners étaient excellents, un buffet avec des options de viande halal.

Stayed here for one night before an early morning flight and had a really lovely stay. I honestly didn’t realize until I arrived that Hotel Baškuća had been featured in TIME’s World’s Greatest Places 2025 and National Geographic Traveller’s European Cities Collection 2025; such a nice surprise and very well deserved. The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to Baščaršija (the old bazaar), which made it very convenient for exploring Sarajevo even with a short stay. The room was very cozy, clean, and comfortable, and the amenities were all thoughtfully prepared. Everything felt well-kept and welcoming. I had to leave very early for my flight, so unfortunately I didn’t get to try the breakfast, but I heard from others that it’s excellent. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I’d happily recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sarajevo especially if you want somewhere comfortable, charming, and well located.

Hotel Grad in Sarajevo est un petit endroit très confortable. Service calme, propre, amiable. Il était encore mieux que nous ne l'avions attendu pour ce prix. Je recommande Hotel Grad!

We loved our two night stay at this hotel. It’s super clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with a kitchenette and all necessities. Breakfast is amazing with different Bosnian dishes cooked each day and the usual breakfast items. Garage is free and best if you come by car as it’s a steep climb from the main road. Taxis are cheap and hotel does transfers for 30KM each way. Bus stop is about a 15 minute walk from hotel. Highly recommend and thank you for an amazing experience!

Incredible hotel with very kind and welcoming staff. Nice and large rooms with an incredible view of the forest, a very unique experience. Would like to extend a thanks to Sanin for making the best hot chocolate I've ever had, and Mladen for serving us in the three times (!!!) we used the downstairs restaurant which had probably the best pizza I've ever had. I never use the restaurant in the hotel but this was seriously exceptional and had plenty of options. I ended up ordering Pizza Trebevic twice on two separate days. The breakfast options were good too. Special thanks also to Mellisa at the front desk who let us check out late because our flight was late in the evening and greeted us with nothing but kindness, and booked us taxis as we needed. The only problem you might have with the hotel is that the location is high up in the mountains. Cab drivers probably won't be very pleased to take you up easily and you will feel guilty that they drove so far for you. The hotel is basically in the middle of nowhere but the hikes around the area make it worth it. On the map it looks like it is not far from the main town but it is really far compared to other options. Go to this hotel if you intend to hike often but just bear in mind that you are high up in the mountains, far away from the old town center
