I can not say enough good things about The Apple House. We came to York on our honeymoon. The loft was spacious, there were snacks waiting and a kettle in the room. The bed was comfy. But the true magic is the owners. It’s rare to be treated that well by a hotel. Not only do you get a full cooked breakfast, it’s made to order. It’s served in a lovely room. You get to select the time you’d like to eat from 4 seatings. Danielle went out of her way to help us find our way around York as it was our first visit. But where they went above and beyond was, I am disabled, her husband took our bags up to our room on the top floor while she was helping us figure out where we wanted to go in the city. And then the next day when we asked her how we got to the train station, she literally picked up my bags and walked my husband and I to the train. It was the kindest thing a hotel owner has ever done for us. We will return to York someday and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Great hotel! Absolutely would recommend. Room was lovely and clean, hotel in a great location. Easy to walk to/from town and to the high street. Staff were lovely, great little tuck shop area to buy drinks/snacks. And air con which was a god send in the recent hot weather. I initially booked into a different hotel which was awful, found this place and booked immediately - very happy I moved!

Il y a beaucoup de routes pour aller à l'hôtel, il est noir tôt en hiver, il n'y a pas de voiture, il est très clair à l'hôtel, l'environnement est très bon, la disposition de l'hôtel est également très goûtante. Le lit est doux mais a une force de soutien, le sommeil est confortable, le restaurant de petit déjeuner est magnifique, plusieurs types de petit déjeuner peuvent être choisis.

Great little hotel in a cool location just outside York, around a 10 minute walk to the city wall, not much around the hotel but close enough to make the trip walkable. The building is beautiful and comfortable, and the breakfast was a fantastic small buffet with a great to order breakfast. The English breakfast was fantastic. Would recommend it to anyone traveling to York!

Une petite villa, la chambre est propre et propre, très chaleureuse et calme, le service est très chaleureux, nous vivons au 3ème étage, il n'y a pas d'élévateur, les bagages sont tous des magasins pour aider à prendre la chambre, le parking est également pratique. L'environnement de Zhou est bon, le voyage est également pratique, marcher le long du fleuve pendant 20 minutes à pied pour passer le paysage rapidement arriver aux attractions touristiques de la ville de Zhuang, seulement le petit déjeuner est très cher. La journée et les deux nuits sont toujours une expérience hostile.

The Novotel in York is lovely. We had a clean modern room with plenty of space. Wasn't so keen on the separate tiny toilet cubicle but it wouldn't stop us staying again. The staff weren't the friendliest at reception. The staff at the very good breakfast were much nicer. It's a bit of a walk from the centre of things although if you go along the river it's shorter and much nicer. Only trouble with this is the very large steps you have to negotiate, not ideal in a wheelchair. Plenty of space there so I don't see why there's no ramp.

I've stayed at this hotel before and I will definitely be staying again. The location is ideal for me with easy access to the city centre either by walking, bus, or taxi. The rooms have always been very clean and a good size too. The buffet style breakfast is always superb and leisure facilities give you a chance to unwind in the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. The staff have always been pleasant, friendly, and polite. 5 stars from me!

La chambre est très spacieuse et très propre. Les lits et les coussins sont confortables. L'emplacement est également très stratégique. À pied pour les lieux touristiques et les plats. Le petit-déjeuner buffer est hors d'attente! Nous avons apprécié notre petit-déjeuner. Très recommandé.

Location très simple au centre de la ville. Pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre et la chambre était assez chaude. Très étroite et marche arrière jusqu'à la chambre. Parking sur place à un prix supplémentaire. Le petit déjeuner buffet était bon, mais le personnel était insécurisé des options gratuites de la veganité ou du gluten. Bon petit hôtel.
