Great old house with plenty of antiques all about. I had to be gone before breakfast but the bed, the room and the hospitality were fabulous! Dave however made sure I was coffee'd up before I had to go! Many thanks. m

We stayed two nights in the house of my dreams. Thank you Barbara-Lynn & Dave!! The Phoenix House is a clean, beautifully appointed home which has captured the nostalgic atmosphere I adore with modern amenities. The rooms are truly works of art. They have a lovely garden area and private seating outside with the front porch being my absolute favourite. Dave is an amazing cook and was happy to accommodate our dietary restrictions. Barbara-Lynn & Dave are amazing, accomplished people and have lived truly fascinating lives; we so enjoyed our chats over breakfast. We are so happy we stayed and plan to visit again.

We had the most wonderful time with the hosts, Dave and Barbara-Lynn. They were warm and inviting. Breakfast was fantastic. We enjoyed our conversations with them. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view overlooking the back yard. So glad we picked this wonderful place to stay.

Superb short-term stay in a comfortable and tasteful heritage home in ‘small-town’ Alberta. Accommodations (one bedroom suite) was exceptionally clean and well-appointed. The hosts were gracious, friendly and courteous. Breakfast was nutritious and shared with one of our hosts. A great experience!

We were very happy with our stay. Dave is a very talented individual being a carpenter, music composer, musician, etc and he cooked great breakfasts. Both Dave and Barbara Lyn are great hosts and very easy to talk too. Dave gave a good history regarding the house and how the reno came about. Had great conversations regarding their travels. Master bedroom was very comfortable and the balcony was very welcome. A larger TV would have been welcomed when watching sports. Joe & Marion

We stayed two nights at this lovely, unique B&B in Stettler. Dave and Barbara-Lynn are welcoming hosts extraordinaire. The property is well maintained with lovely landscaping. Lots of street parking and an easy walk into downtown. It's relaxing to enjoy a quiet time on the front or back porch or the balcony off our Master Room. Breakfasts were creative and fabulous; Dave is as much an artisan in the kitchen as he is a master carpenter. Note: ask how the Phoenix House got it's name. We highly recommend staying there.

My daughter and I stayed at Phoenix house recently. The room was comfortable and clean the breakfasts were amazing and the hospitality was top notch. Will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Exactly as described in their website. Had a quiet, relaxing time, the hosts were nice, and the sheets were soft. Great for a weekend away from Edmonton. We recommend staying there if you're in the area.

Highly recommend this lovely little place. My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this cozy B&B while attending a Slo-Plitch tournament in Stettler. Dave and Barbara were such a pleasure and provided outstanding hospitality. This heritage home was clean, very well maintained and full of character. To top it off, this home offers a gorgeous oasis in the backyard to sit and relax in. We were provided a wonderful homemade breakfast which we were able to enjoy while having great conversation and laughs with these amazing hosts. I would highly recommend staying at the Phoenix House and will definitely be re-booking when our next tournament comes around. Thank you Dave and Barbara for an unforgettable experience!
