Lord Nelson Hotel

The location is quite convenient, but is hard to find is you arrive at night, also the pictures are a bit deceiving cause look bigger than it is. Loved the breakfast but for a green hotel is a lot of waste of paper for the cereal and bread presentation. The rooms are quite dark and tiny! I never been so glad of being a small person 🤣, the beds are comfortable but the rooms made me feel quite claustrophobic. The staff is really nice and helpful, and there's several cafes and shops around to grab a bite anytime of the day.

This hotel is published as three stars hotel, but it should be rated as three small stars. Very small double rooms, claustrophobic single rooms. Honestly, you get much more paying just a little extra in other hotels in Stockholm centre. Nevertheless, people there are really friendly and attentive. If you just consider price this is your hotel. If you don’t, look for another place.

The rooms are nice and clean with a maritime look. They are also quiet small, but this is not a problem for us, because we don't spend much time at the room while on holyday. The breakfast buffet is on the other hand very boring and levels under what we usually see at 3 star hotels. Some untinteresting bread, ham from a vacuum packet, cheese from a vacuumpacket, some cold hard boiled eggs and some youghurt and some fruit. If the breakfast buffet are improved we would stay there again.

Location was perfect, bedding very comfortable, the staff made me feel at home. The room made me feel Iike I was on a ship, which I loved. I would definitely stay here again, it was in the center of everything and was just what I needed, breakfast was great. The history of the building was an added bonus.

Small hotel in the heart of the old town within walking distance from metro station (800 m) and central train station (1,4 km). The room was tiny but mostly sufficient for one person with only carry-on package. However, the table was uncomfortably small for using a laptop. The bathroom was modern with shower and very clean, as also the room. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable even though also rather small. In the end on September the weather was quite chilly, and the room was uncomfortably cold. The floor heating of the bathroom didn’t seem to function. Luckily I could use an extra blanket from the other bed in the room. The breakfast was served in a small area near to the reception. I found the breakfast good enough but limited in variety, with only cold alternatives - no omelette, bacon or oatmeal due to lack of facilities and staff for organising them. However, good coffee, orange juice, fresh bread, cheese and ham, yoghurt and cooked eggs etc. were available. I would not choose the hotel again for a business trip, but possibly for a holiday weekend to see the sights.

i stayed in room 338 on Nov 5th 2021...on check in staff where awesome very nice friendly ladies to me at the desk and helpful no complaint there at all they engaged me in conversation and were not put off by my baby being covered in tattoos including my face an head...again nice ladies....i wanted to stay here because i lived at the hotel in my youth in the 90's....anyway, the stay went fine but the next morning i got out of bed went to sit on the desk chair an it flew out from under me as it is an unstable chair it was not locked underneath so i tipped back on my head...i am 6 foot 4 400lbs so i feel hard the chair metal part rammed into the back of my skull causing neck and jaw injury...when i went to check out i asked to see a manager so i could inform him to let housekeeping staff know to start locking these chairs because if an older person or a person with disabilities like myself sits in it not knowing it has to be locked could get serious injury ending in a lawsuit...as somebody that has run hotels i am certain...anyway they said sorry and promised to refund the room an that i had to take refund from ******* because thats how i booked but he told the girl to refund my 30 dollar parking....i checked my bank when i got home parking was never refunded and when i talked to ******* the hotel denied anything happened and that there was no conversation so no refund of the 209 for the room...so ******* said i have to get it from the lord nelson....i wanted to get the refund to make a point that they need to be concerned for the safety of there clients all of them but more so the elderly and disabled, so disappointing....also i do not recommend this hotel to anybody disabled it is not disabled friendly if you have a cane or trouble walking the rooms parking everything is not clearly marked and long walk to find everything nothing simple there.....the manager in the morning of my stay was very ignorant would not let me speak and then lied about the refund an saying he was sorry for my injury...sucks because as i said the ladies doing the check-in where very nice ...

Punto di forza è, senza possibilità di essere smentiti, la posizione centrale nella città vecchia (gamla stan). Si raggiungono in breve tempo, sia a piedi, che con i mezzi pubblici, tutti i punti di interesse di Stoccolma. La stanza è accogliente anche se con mobilio un poco "vetusto". Il bagno è decisamente "essenziale" e la doccia è a pavimento (non esiste il piatto doccia). Uno neo, è la colazione che è buona come qualità, ma decisamente "povera" come quantità e possibilità di scelta.
