Avis : Shin Osaka Esaka Tokyu Rei Hotel

Hotel is quite near Esaka station, only 2 mins walk to hotel. Staffs are helpful, they have translator device to communicate with guest. There are amenities available at reception floor.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. First of all, the location is extremely inconvenient — it’s quite far from the city center, making it difficult and time-consuming to get around if you want to explore Osaka properly. The hotel is not ideal for tourists who want easy access to the main attractions. Cleanliness was another letdown. The room didn’t feel particularly fresh or well-maintained. It wasn’t dirty per se, but definitely not up to the standard you would expect, especially for the price. On top of that, the air conditioning was a major issue. It was set to an “auto” mode that couldn’t be adjusted manually, and as a result, the room was often uncomfortably warm. I couldn’t get it to cool properly no matter what I tried, and the front desk wasn’t very helpful about it either. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you have no other options. There are definitely better and more conveniently located places in Osaka.

Chose this hotel as it is very convenient to go to the Shinkansen station for my kyoto day trips. The hotel is just 1 min away from esaka metro station thus I took about 25mins to get to Kyoto (2 metro stops 5min+ 13 min Shinkansen stop on the nozomi line) We didn’t want to stay two places as it is troublesome to change hotel and move luggages around. Although it is further from airport than popular areas like namba, it doesn’t make much of a difference anyway as both takes about 1 hour.

Stayed 4 nights here! Next to Esaka Station and near shopping and eateries. Staff were nice and attentive to queries. Requested for table fan as room was quite warm even in autumn!

One of the best hotels I have stayed at in Japan. The staff were so friendly and answered every question I had. The rooms were cleaned and well stocked with the basic amenities. I will definitely be staying again, when I am in Osaka.

The hotel is conveniently located near Esaka Station and walking distance from the JR Toyotsu Station. The hotel itself is clean and the staff is friendly. The breakfast includes a mix of western and other dishes. It was never crowded while we were there during the Cherry Tree Blossom season. I like the fact that it's not far from downtown while not far from Expo City either. We enjoyed our stay and will return to this hotel on our next Osaka visit.

We have had a nice stay. But the problem is the air conditioner is not working properly.

This hotel is more appropriate for business trips, which require a strategic location, not for comfort, because the rooms are small and the beds are hard The staff is good, only English is lacking, but quite helpful

the only thing to comment is cleaning up the room. I stayed 7 nights but only cleaned up twice. overall, the stay was great.

No cool air conditioner. They didnt take chopstick to me

Very good location, just next to Esaka metro station, staff can speak English, there are water filling stations at every floor for drinking, clean and descent hotel, there are numerous shops for eating, shopping below. There are also super market.

We are hearing-impaired. Nice room and clean so housekeeping is nice and staffs is nice service and English well. Thumb up!

We re stay on 2 May to 9 May 2024 so good location near shopping and restaurants lots. Wow so good clean and change bed and towels until 9 May. Nice Service Staffs all. Staff can lent us charger plug thank you very much!
