The hotel is in a Great location,staff couldn't be more helpful,room cleaned every day. I stayed 7 nights so wouldn't have minded every few days.

Thank you to all at The Castle for a perfect Wedding Day. Everyone involved worked tirelessly to ensure everything ran just as we had planned. The Wedgwood Suite looked amazing for the ceremony, reception and the evening celebrations....you all really took on board our wishes and nothing was ever too much trouble for you. We couldn't have wished for any more. We opted to use The Castles resident DJ, Mark. He was outstanding... a packed dancefloor from start to finish....without doubt, the icing on the cake. This hotel is definitely not what it looks like online, when you walk in looks like and smells old peoples home, room was that bad it’s looked very old and outdated the curtains were filthy it’s was freezing so we checked out straight away and got a full refund

When we first met with Mike we knew it was the perfect place for us. We are not ones for traditional wedding, we wanted to personalise it. Staff were always on hand to support us, from Mia & Taylor on reception, to Becky our master of ceremonies.

Lovely hotel big room nice bath room and plenty of tea and coffee available, lovely and clean. Nearby parking which hotel deal with once you give them your reg. Lovely and warm and quiet so you get a good nights sleep

We visited recently for an overnight stay (2 x adults, 1 x child) and while generally ok there are definitely some areas that could be improved on. We checked in just before 6pm on Sunday evening, the staff were flustered and unorganised. We weren't given any information about the Hotel or amenities adn after a long drive, were keen to get to the room and relax. The room was clean and bed/pillows comfortable, however we were a bit disappointed to find we would have to be sharing the double bed with our 3 year old! This made for an awkwards night sleep. In the morning we left around 9am - no staff to be seen anywhere so left the keys at the reception. Parking is a short stroll away, great for those visiting from out of town as we were.

We had our Wedding at The Castle Hotel and what a wonderful time we had the table decorations i gave them to use looked beautiful and the room looked gorgeous. They made everyone feel welcome and attention to detail was very good and the servers did an amazing job . We had lots of compliments from our friends and family about what a lovely time they had . I would recommend people to have their wedding there nothing is to much trouble for them . Mr and Mrs Glover

My husband and I got married here on 20th May 2023 and we can't recommend them enough! Right from the get go Mike and Leah were so helpful and put us at ease. Our day was amazing and the staff worked very well with the other vendors we had for our day. All staff were very attentive and so pleasant they honestly made our day seamless and perfect. Special thanks to our toastmaster and Becky who was there for whatever we needed and guided us through the day and again made us comfortable and at ease. Another thanks to the fab bar staff and reception staff for also being amazing. It was amazing to see the day come together after so much planning and it couldn't have been done with out the support from the staff mentioned above our heartfelt thanks for making our special day so memorable ❤️ we honestly can't thank you enough Mr and Mrs Henn xxx

word can not explain how amazing all the staff are at the castle hotel..!! I recently had my wedding day there and from beginning to end they were wonderful. the hotel itself is spotless & the service you receive there is 5*. the hotel rooms are so lovely and the breakfast is delicious. the reception staff and the night porters can't do enough for you....!!! i highly recommend this venue for a wedding, party, or even just a nice cosy night away
