Eva Lanka Hotel - Beach & Wellness

No word, just like no picture could ever make justice of this magical place where you’ll feel like in paradise. If you are looking for excessive luxury this ain’t your spot but if you do love to feel like home whilst being immerse in wonderful nature I couldn’t recommend more this family run hotel. The harmony and peace all around you will make you happy to actually be there and you won’t miss any kind of comfort. The beach is just few steps away from your room and even if it is not private, it’s just like a private tropical beach with calm waters and nice, lively reef. You also have 2 swimming pools if you’d like to hang out after a great massage or an excellent breakfast. Staff is awesome and extremely friendly as well as incredibly helpful. Davide and Francesca are a lovely couple who manage the whole thing and it won’t take you long to realize that it’s just like a big family ( from the gardener to the receptionist ) welcoming you at you Eva Lanka with a common goal of making your staying unforgettable. My week with them was a perfect compromise in a classy and stylish but very authentic place. Absolutely loved it !

if you are looking for a quiet place surrounded by nature with large spaces, Evalanka is definitely the ideal place. we were well welcomed, pampered and looked after in everything. The Spa offers Ayurveda massages performed by expert therapists, spacious rooms and a breathtaking view. we will definitely be back! congratulations to Davide and Francesca who make this place unique and special, a true pearl overlooking the Indian Sea Luca&Guenda

We have spent over 1 month here with my family, my 20 year old and my 4 months old babies. Great value for money! The Italian owners and the staff have been incredibly accommodating with the weirdest requests we had, always available, professional al and kind. The structure is perfect for a family also with young kids like mine. It’s very clean and safe. We met amazing people during our stay, from many different countries and different backgrounds (families with children, nomadic workers, retired couples, teenagers, young adults…). It was very enriching. The location is incredible, just above a fantastic paradise beach, still undiscovered by the main tourism and one of the only ones in the area in which is safe to swim in (there are no dangerous currents). You can see turtles and beautiful fish if the visibility is good. We had the chance to do excursions that were really well organised, and they also arranged to find a very good babysitter for our 4 months old. Ayurveda massages are great and the therapists and the doctor helped us a lot with a few health issues we had during our stay. I would definitely recommend it and I am looking forward to come back in the near future!

We had a wonderful stay here, we stayed 5 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The rooms were very spacious and nice, loved that they serviced the rooms everyday and left us fresh water, really thoughtful. The staff were all very nice and welcoming, the food in the restaurant was great and the breakfast buffet was very nice too. The pools were both great and the children really enjoyed them. I was perfect that we could walk to the beach and there was a great little area where the sea was very calm for the children to play. We met the owner and her husband a few times and they were both so nice, they have some exciting plans going forward and we would stay again at the drop of a hat.

Very good calm place to stay with family. Big territory with 2 swimming pools and bounty beach in front of hotel. Staff is super friendly and trying to help when it is needed. Rooms are big with conditioner, room service every day. Breakfast was a little bit boring because same food every day and limited options. Hotel staying on hill, so all time you should go up and down, we really like it (to have fitness), same time for people with locomotion problems that could be hard to manage. You could also have experience to see peacocks, squirrels, monkeys on territory. Be aware that beach is not belong to hotel and hotel management is not responsible for your security and your staff. We had bad experience when first day some of “beach boys” stolen money bag on the beach. Same time place nearby restaurant is safe because restaurants owner is looking for your comfort and security. In summary if you like beauty of nature, calm vacation on beautiful beach that place for you.

We stayed at a bungalow with seaview and indeed, the view was breathtaking. (Ask for bungalow 6). The beach, the layout of the park, the animals and of course the friendly staff, made it for us a great start od our holiday in Sri Lanka. We also loved the town of Tangalle and the area, with jungle, beaches and no highrise hotels.

We rested at the hotel in June 2023, celebrated our honeymoon. We would like to thank the entire hotel team for their hospitality and high service. I would like to say a special thank you to the hotel manager and the supervisor of the restaurant Pathum for an individual approach to each guest and prompt resolution of all issues.

Amazing classic hotel in a huge property with a lot of privacy and no bad noise, it’s like to be in a room inside a small natural park. Stunning beach, most probably one of the best ones in Sri Lanka. Nice breakfast and food and great place value for money. Highly recommend to families or couples that looks for a relaxing stay. Ayurveda treatments are really good and not expensive at all and the two seawater swimming pools are really useful even in case of bad ocean, perfect for kids too. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Great place for a beach and nature holiday, loved it!

great beautiful resort with beautiful gardens. friendly helpful people and really nicest breakfast of our trip. wonderful views over the lovely beach which is right on the hotel. pools are bigger than in the pictures. family chalet 7 and 8 were spacious and had a beautiful sea view. enjoy there!
