We spent one night here during Easter Week, having made reservations for a standard double back in August 2023. We were upgraded to a larger "premium" room which faced the narrow street. The room had a very comfortable bed, safe, two rattan chairs, desk with chair, closet, long bench for luggage, great towels, closet, safe, mini fridge, and terrific shower. The light switches were a bit odd; some had to be pressed lightly to work; others were toggled. Reception was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was substantial and did not start until 9, probably due to the holiday week. There is a lovely view from the terrace on the top floor. We took the short walk into the town to find restaurants, watch the wind surfers, and see the Semana Santa procession that evening. Spectacular, followed by ice cream. NOTE: their directions are not very clear. Coming from the roundabout off the N340 down the main street, there is a ruined tower on your LEFT. IMMEDIATELY in front, there are 3 parking spaces, one marked in yellow. Pull into the non-handicapped space on your left. Kook's indicated number 16B is BEYOND these spaces unless you are coming from the opposite direction (the port). Once you have parked, you walk into the alley to find the hotel on your left. Avoid driving into the walled city if at all possible. Reception told us how to find free street parking.
