The location of this property is great, close to everywhere, 10mins walking distance to Liberty square, and Europ square. The property is actually in an old castle, with lots of collections. It is amazing to have a walk around in the hotel itself. The breakfast included in the stay is great as well. You can order omelette as per your preference. There are different traditional dishes as options. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The only pity is that I booked double bed room, which is not the best choice. It is right at the entrance of the hotel and the room is not sound-proof, sometimes it gets too noisy with all the guests walking and talking. The room is dark as well. It has a terrace however it is un-usable, since there is no view. I'd suggest to book family suit.

Don’t book there! Hotel management does not keep their word and cancels reservations last minute. Communication of the management is very unprofessional and I can only warn to make a down payment before a stay. There are plenty of nice hotels in Tiblisi better for somewhere else.

What is great? 1. Staff were super friendly. Shout out to Toko 2. Great experience, staying in a old castle turned into a hotel 3. Excellent facilities like pool, library, terrace with amazing views 4. Very clean and spacious rooms with a lot to see within the hotel property itself What is not so great? Breakfast was the worst breakfast spread we have ever had in any hotel. They have laid out 2-3 veges, some jams and some cheese and break.Eggs on order. Cake as dessert. Tea/Coffee. That is all. For the price we pay, this is a ridiculously bad breakfast. We had much better breakfast spread in budget hotels than this.

We really enjoyed staying at Castle in Old Town! Great location! Stunning place! We had a nice, beautifully decorated two bedroom. At night we enjoyed sitting on one of the terraces that had magnificent views! We loved our breakfast there; such a variety and so delicious! Friendly staff and great service! They gave us a nice tour of the castle!

We stayed for two nights in a family room. Massive double bed and two small beds for the kids. Location was great for the fortress and cable car. Traditional Georgian breakfast was interesting. Would definitely recommend though not suitable for young children or people with mobility issues.

we visited Tblisi few weeks ago, The hotel is good location. Walking distance like ten minutes from the old town area. The staff were wonderful. Eager to help and make your stay enjoyable. Rooms very spacious and clean. The only issue was not having instruction for turning on the TV.

The hotel is located in the old centre of the city, behind Freedom Square. Access is via uneven steps, lots of them, as the taxi can only drop guests at the bottom of Betkemi Rise. Luckily, there is always a strappy lad at the hotel to carry your suitcases upstairs. The long hallway showcases its owner’s penchant for collecting oriental art. There is no reception as such just a couple of chairs at the top of the entrance stairs. Our room, Burma, on the same floor, was huge. Interestingly both the toilet and walk-in shower were an integral part of the room, at either end, with wash basins in between. There was a huge and comfortable bed, spacious wardrobe, fridge and even a microwave. Bathrobes and slippers were provided and there was safe box too. As the whole building nestles to the steep rock there are steps everywhere. Plenty of tables scattered all over at different levels and with great views over the city. There is even an infinity pool near the top of the whole complex. Breakfast was pretty good with local produce served, breads, cheese, jams, cakes and plenty of fruit.

We had a lovely time at the Castle in Old Town, a historic renovated castle featuring a large world art collection. The Armoury Room where we stayed was amazing, very spacious and well equipped. The gardens were beautiful, with great views of the city, and we received a very interesting tour detailing the history of the place and the city itself. The castle’s location in Old Town places you very centrally in the city, very close to the many cultural and historical sites Tbilisi has to offer. Our receptionist George was very friendly and helpful, as were all of the staff. Definitely worth a visit.

There is something a little romantic about staying in a Castle. We stayed in the Paris Suite. Just stunning. Art deco style, great bath, cute shower and toilet. Bed was stunning. Whole room was just beautiful. 2 terraces, both with lovely views of the city. Breakfast was lovely, with lovely fluffy omelettes. Generally was very clean, bath could have been cleaned a little better though. Not at all suitable for anyone with mobility issues, or bad knees. I would definitely stay again.
