Hôtels à Tilbourg avec parking

I booked the Efteling package for 3 adults and it was the perfect choice. The hotel is walking distance from the stations and easy to find. Rooms are comfortable and clean - my daughter was delighted to find our bathroom had a bath (not all rooms do). Breakfast was included and consisted of a broad selection of items, and was very good. We ate dinner in the hotel the first evening, which was pleasant though the menu was limited. But there are several restaurants nearby, catering to a variety of tastes and budgets. After eating elsewhere on the second evening, we returned to the hotel and had a quiet drink in the bar. I don't know how busy the hotel gets at other times, but we had a quiet, relaxing stay and were very content with the whole experience. There was some noise from the street late at night but it didn't last long. All staff members were friendly and helpful.

We have previously stayed at the Ibis Tilburg and our stays have been good. This particular incident is very disappointing. My husband & I are traveling from Norway to Portugal and have planned our route & hotels. We chose the Ibis brand due to it being cost effective, clean, well staffed & pet friendly. We are traveling 9 days all Ibis hotels. Upon going over our Itineraries, I noticed that one of the dates were wrong. I’m sure it was something as simple as a fat finger but I immediately made contact with the hotel. Here is where the story gets interesting. I spoke with a young girl via email. She informed me that because I bought it online and it was paid that there was nothing that we can do. I did not buy a “flex” room?. In my defense, I did go back and look and it was quite confusing as to flex or non flex. I’ve never bought a flex. I’ve never had a problem in any hotel. I travel a lot. Now mind you all I’m asking for is to change the date to June 25 from June 26. I don’t want a refund & I’m willing to pay extra and we went back-and-forth several times each time I asked who is the property manager no response. Finally when I informed them that I am going to talk to corporate and write a review, I start getting emails from the front of the house property manager. He informed me that it’s not “fair” If he was to help us, but if I wanted to sell my room to someone and change the name that they would do that well that’s not what I’m looking for. The email exchange was absurd and repetitive. I have since found out that the Ibis is a franchise. So each Ibis has different rules and regulations. Well I have since booked with another Ibis hotel and I am very pleased. No, I’m not looking for anything for free but I think if you are in the hospitality business that you should provide hospitality. The tone of the emails and just the uncooperative attitude has soured me on this brand. I feel as they could have made this situation which was a mistake and there would be no financial consequence to the hotel that they could’ve actually helped us. This particular franchise in Tilburg is unwilling to break the rules, (he also told me it didn’t matter if there was illness or a fat finger, rules are rules) and everything to them was black & white. I live in the gray & sometime you have to help your guests, again there would be no financial loss to them. They did offer that I could buy another room, and of course they would keep my money from the wrong date, I chose to find a new hotel, and I highly would never recommend this facility for any travel to anyone. We leggen de lat natuurlijk hoog, na meer dan 25 Van Der Valk-hotels bezocht te hebben. Dit recente hotel stond hoog op ons verlanglijstje. Daarom koppelden we dit aan ons verblijf in de Beekse Bergen. Jammer genoeg was de ervaring wat minder dan de verwachting. De kamer was mooi, men was wel het extra bed vergeten. Kan gebeuren en het werd wel correct rechtgezet door de dames van het onthaal. Het bed was deels stuk (wieltje afgebroken) maar dat lieten we dan maar al. Ook echt proper was het niet helemaal. Het restaurant was zeker goed, maar om 21h moet je daar ook niet meer zitten want dan stofzuigen de personeelsleden je weg. Jammer ook dat het zwembad niet gecontroleerd wordt (er werd met ballen geworpen door een gezin) en dat de sauna deels niet werkte. Ook de veelbelovende skybar was niet open. Het ontbijt dan was goed, maar ook niet meer dan dat. Voor een toch erg dure overnachting was onze ervaring eerder beperkt.

Peu d'hôtels à Tilburg, le Bastion est excentré et une voiture est indispensable pour le centre ville un petit peu animé. Nous y avons séjourné 3 fois depuis 2022. Bel immeuble récent, parking gratuit sur place. Restaurant possible. Grandes chambres bien équipées (le chauffage climatisation est souvent en panne). Lits doubles de 90 ou grand lit... Le grand lit c'est en réalité 2 lits doubles côte à côte et un surmatelas. Tout cet assemblage de literie bouge et c'est peu confortable absence de drap housse, pas terrible... Ni bouteille d'eau ni accessoire de toilette fournis. Apportez votre gel douche! Propreté discutable (poussières, cheveux, filtration salle de bain bouchée par la poussière...) On est loin d'un 4*... Mais comme il y a peu de choix abordables pour cette petite ville, c'est le Bastion qui reste dans nos prix. Attention le site direct de l'hôtel est plus cher que les offres des grossistes en ligne.

Hotel De Druiventros is situated in a forested area near Tilburg. The hotel offers free parking and a free fitness area. De Druiventros is conveniently located along the A58 motorway. The Beekse Bergen Zoo (5 km) and the Efteling (11 km) are within easy reach. The nearest bus stop with connections to Tilburg Central Station is a 2-minute walk away. The hotel rooms have a private bathroom and Wi-Fi. Special theme rooms and rooms for families are available as well. The restaurant has an extensive menu with meat, fish and vegetarian dishes.

We booked a triple room with a double bed and 1 single bed (option given). They called 24h up front and confirmed this on the phone. On arrival we had to pay the full amount up front for unknown reason. The room we got was just a double room and had only 1 double bed so our son had to sleep in between us. The double bed however was just made of 2 single beds moved together. The lightswitches and phone were installed between the two single beds so when moved together they are horribly placed in the middle of the double bed. Our son got the phone on his head twice during the night. When noted to the staff they replied: “we thought the child would be smaller so a double bed was enough”. They did not even offer to put up a bed. There were two of everything, not three. Note that every night there was loud music and people shouting until 4 am. The breakfast buffet was very limited and the provided pastry and bacon was black/burned. During our stay we noted a lot of mold in the bathroom which was never cleaned. At the end of our stay they offered to refund partially from the triple to a double but “they could not do that right now”. We have never heard from them since. They charged for three and delivered for two. Horrible experience.
