Hotel Centrale, BW Signature Collection

Excellent service provided by the reception staff, answered all my queries clearly and was really helpful. The cleanliness of the room was great but could have been a little better, with a great range of amenities provided. The breakfast provided was fantastic as well.

部屋はとても清潔でしたし、スタッフもフレンドリーで親切でした。朝食のビュッフェも安くて美味しかったです。アメニティも充実していました。シャワーの水がブースから若干漏れますが、バスルームの外まで漏れるほどではありませんでした。夜窓を開けていると近所で騒ぐ若者の声が聞こえてきましたが、疲れていて寝る分には問題ありませんでした。日本の一般的なビジネスホテルと比べても特に不自由しませんでした。何よりスタッフの笑顔が良い思い出です。ありがとうございました。

Hotel molto bello in centro nella graziosissima Tirano, camere pulite e fornite di ogni accessorio. Personale molto gentile e cortese; spa interna molto piccola con prezzi elevati per il servizio offerto. Consiglio questa struttura, ma per la Spa recatevi altrove per es: alle Terme di Bormio, il costo è lo stesso ma li avete molte più sale e potete trascorrere una giornata in pieno relax non soltanto 1 ora!

This is not a fancy hotel. My room was small, but comfortable and they have a nice dining room with a good breakfast. The location is also good. But it was noisy due to a dog that barked in the middle of the night and early morning hours. When I went to the dining room for breakfast, I heard barking again and I looked into the kitchen and there was the culprit: one of the kitchen staff's pets!

I stayed here for one night ahead of a trip on the Bernina Express. Firstly, I’d have to comment on the fact that, despite its name suggesting otherwise, the hotel is not really that central. It may be reasonably central to what was the old town of Tirano, but it is quite a bit further from the railway station (the main attraction for most visitors, I’d imagine) than many of its competitors. If, like me, you’re trailing heavy luggage behind you, then be aware it’s a good 7-10 minute walk across uneven, cobbled streets with few pavements. All of that said, the hotel was quiet, very clean and generally well presented. Decorative finishes in the bedroom were somewhat dated but the bed itself was very comfortable. A hospitality tray with kettle, a well-stocked mini bar and a decent rain shower were good features. Breakfast was very pleasant but did not offer much in the way of choice of some items, with the bread offering and fresh fruit selections being somewhat limited. Like many hotels these days, a key card is required to operate the room’s powered services such as lighting and ventilation. In public areas, motion sensors do the job. The slightly annoying thing about this property is that the lights seemed to go out nano seconds after passing through a previously unlit area or removing the key card to exit the room. Whilst saving energy and keeping costs low is clearly important for everyone, this felt over zealous and somewhat stingy. Finally, my biggest criticism of the Hotel Centrale would be the exceptionally early checkout time of 10.00am. Bearing in mind that that this hotel rates itself as a 4-star property, this seems an unreasonably early hour to expect guests to have quit their accommodation. Even most budget hotels these days afford guests a checkout time of closer to mid day . Overall, a comfortable enough stay but with some issues which might make me less inclined to either return myself or recommend this hotel to others.

This hotel is a ten minute walk from the railway station and half that into the lively town centre. Our superior room was very small although clean and pleasant. The shower over bath, which involved a dangerous manoeuvre for someone of my advancing years was a disappoin**ent. Breakfast in a rather cramped and sombre a**osphere was just ok. Overall a useful hotel in the perfect place to get on or off the Bernini, but greatly overpriced.

Rooms (at least ours) are a bit small and like many historic center properties not a lot of view or natural light. Bath is large enough although corner shower is very small. That said this is a very nice boutique hotel with modern interiors. Can't beat the location in the old town although I suspect parking may be a challenge. Hotel was very clean with a helpful staff. Breakfast offerings are limited however.
