Accomodation and rooms decent and comfortable. Lobby captured Chris**as spirit with a nice Xmas tree but all the goodness was killed by the restaurant experience. 19:30 tried call room service and ended up going in person because noone picked up. Placed the order and waited. 22:00 Went to enquire why the food order never came. By now , everyone is at dining area , shouting to get food manager to account. She is hiding in the kitchen. 23:00 its too late to get alternative delivery options. We drink fridge water and sleep. Next day : 06:00 Am not risking my family to venture included breakfast in this horrible place. We gonna go out and look for a Wimpy. If you travel with diabetics and younger children do no book here.

One night stay, group tour (17 pax). No issues at all, warm welcome with a drink, easy checking, nice room with good mattresses and good bathroom with good water pressure in the shower. Diner was great, life cooking was very tasty, free glass of (red) wine offered by the management was a nice touch. Can highly recommend this hotel.

Property is ideally located. Enjoyed the spacious and modern rooms as well as the buffet breakfast. The buffet dinner did not have much variety and there is certainly room for improvement there. Staff were most friendly and helpful. Would recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Gqeberha.

Excellent service received from all staff Front office - Warm friendly and courteous The porter always had a smile on his face and made sure we were welcomed with an arrival drink. Ms. Zingisa Receptionist - brilliant extremely warm and courteous! Housekeeping - Outstanding out room attendant unfortunately didn't get her name she was amazing, she refreshed our towels and amenities without us asking and even added extra water bottles. Food & Beverage - Brilliant the Head Chef (Mr. KB) went out of his way to ensure that we catered for (halaal) Everyday we were greeted by him and asked us what do we need, added some more flavor to our food, and updated us on where to go and what to see in the city. Not often you get this personal touch! General Manager- Ms. Cassandra she went out of her way to ensure that not only us but all guests staying at the hotel were greeted personally and made sure that our stay at the hotel was pleasant and memorable. Thank you Ms. Cassandra you were remarkable. Overall experience 10/10 Excellent location, cleanliness 10/10 big comfortable rooms and great wifi.

The hotel is decent enough, beautiful see views and friendly staff. I was however utterly disappointed by the Restuarant for the both night I stay. First night I ordered room service dinner, I waited for more than two hours. I called the reception and Restuarant several times only to learn that my order was simply not prepared. Second night I ordered food, the food was delivered cold, quality of the preparation was substandard ☹️☹️ on both mains and desert. If this can be looked at, the hotel has a potential of really being the best due to location.

We had the pleasure to have a spacious room for our family. There were two separate rooms to sleep and one sitting area. There were two bathrooms which is very handy if all need to shower quickly. The room had a nice view on the ocean. The diner in the hotel was not according to the standards of the rest of the hotel. It was a pleasant stay.

The rooms were small, had very old furnishing. The breakfast menu was decent. They had local adventure tours being arranged from hotel. The rooms had a damp smell. We chose the family apar**ents by south sun marine due to its proximity to addi national park

Friend and I decided to take a little Stay-Cation in our own City. We were lucky enough to choose The Marine. Booked into a little family suite which was fantastic. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a great little lounge and kitchenette. Plenty of space for us to relax. A few small issues – the kitchenette wasn’t properly stocked, were missing some glasses and a few other essentials, but to be honest, it wasn’t an issue. What was a bit of an issue was that the master bedroom is right near the vents and this can be very noisy and unfortunately one then cannot leave a window open. The master bedroom also gets a lot of noise at the evening shift change when the staff are coming and going. The pool is also nothing more than a splash pool on the roof with a great view. But who needs a large pool when there is a massive ocean just across the road? On the positive side, the staff are super friendly and willing to go the extra mile. We will 100% be back

Excellent service from security to check in and housekeeping.front desk manageress was most courteous and helpful.breakfast options very extensive.all protocols observed.loved the ever smiling jolly chef.will return to this hotel whenever in the windy city.Rooms are well appointed.very clean
