The room was very clean. There is no elevator at the hotel but the staff help me to take all my luggage to the room.

A delightful hotel in the heart of Utrecht. The building is a large converted house, and the rooms are each impeccably decorated and maintained to a high level. The staff are professional and friendly. A simple but fitting breakfast is provided in the downstairs restaurant. Highly recommended for short stays and romantic getaways.

Despite some glowing reviews, this place feels more like a hostel than a hotel. The staffing is minimal and there is no one about after 6pm. The main issue is insulation. Absolutely freezing room that only improved slightly after heating turned on. Sound insulation poor Avoided breakfast based on cost/quality. Much better to go to the centre - many choices. Great location, poor/non existent customer service..

Oh wow! What a total charmer of a hotel. Stunning room in a superb setting, this place just oozes traditional character and style. I note some of the comments about customer service and, admittedly, it's quite an odd place in that respect. Reception was deserted when I arrived (at noon on a Saturday) and I had to go looking for someone to check me-in - and that was the last I saw of anyone until I checked-out. It's a shame the hotel doesn't have a communal area (maybe with an honesty bar) as it's such a beautiful building it which he would have been nice to linger. Having said that, this was my first time in Utrecht and, if I ever return, I'll be staying here again.

If you want the usual hotel stay then this is not the place for you. If you want to stay somewhere different, unique, amazing, comfortable with great staff and a chill vibe then this is the place. Very central right beside the Dom and lots of cool bars and restaurants. The bed was one of the most comfortable I ever slept in. The staff were great especially Sergio who went over and above to make my stay a great one. I would definitely stay here again.

Though the room and location were fine, the experience was heavily impacted by very poor customer care. With my reservation I applied for the breakfast that would be provided on the premises. In the online FAQ I could find that the breakfast would be served in the room. As I needed to leave at 8:30 AM, I was hoping to have breakfast at any time between 7 and 8:15 AM, a broad timeframe I would say. As the morning of my stay arrived, soon it turned 8 AM and I called to inquire when and where the breakfast would arrive. I was quickly referred to a colleague who did not call me back. After calling once more, I was reffered again and nobody called. At 8.25 AM I had to leave so I needed to check-out. At the check-out counter nobody was available, so I called again and quick arrangements had to be made so that I could catch my appoin**ent and find some breakfast. Afterwards I was e-mailed with the message that the breakfast was down the stairs and nobody was available for answers due to the fact that they were preparing breakfast. Why nobody could just tell me this, either on the phone at three different times or on their website baffles me. A fine experience in the room was eventually crushed by this terrible service. I strongly discourage my closeby friends and family to stay here, since the hotel can't seem to juggle the amount of customer they accomodate. They should do much better and I hope they will prove me wrong one day.

This hotel has so much going for it - a beautiful old building, tastefully restored, and rooms oozing character. The location, just behind the Dom Tower, could not be better. I loved hearing the sound of bells chiming day and night. However, the experience was lessened by the barely-there service and lack of general hospitality polish. The reception is only operational during the daytime, and even then there was hardly anyone visible. We never saw the same employee twice. There was nothing in the way of help for visitors - e.g. tips for local restaurants, a folder of suggestions for things to do. (I know in the age of smartphones we have lots of information, but what hotels can provide is some unique insider recommendations). Our shower was also blocked and flooded each morning. When we checked out, we asked for the bill/invoice but the girl behind the desk had no idea how to generate one. It is run like a hostel, despite being hotel prices. We did enjoy our stay because Utrecht is a beautiful city and the hotel is a**ospheric. It could just try harder to make guests more welcome and the experience a little more special.

Hotel Beijers is a beautiful hotel in the historic center of Utretch. The room was nice and the staff helpful. My concern was the church bells that rang every 15 minutes throughout the night. You’d think it would stop ringing at some point late in the evening but you’d be wrong. If you’re a heavy sleeper then great. But if you’re a light sleeper then you’ll have trouble sleeping here. The bells are the only reason I give only three stars.

Our stay here has been perfect. The hotel is gorgeous and set in the middle of everything! The room is stunning & huge! Ideal given the length of our visit ...We had checked out a few other hotels for our week long stay but landed here ..couldn’t have made a better decision. Dominique (hotel manager) is professional and welcoming and exceptionally helpful. You won't be disappointed. Stay here :)
