We stayed as a family in a quintuplet room for 5 days in December. The hotel, as other reviewers have noted, was totally refurbished about 2-3 years ago and the styling is of an old style chalet and works very well. Our room was actually two rooms with a superking double in one and a bunk and single in another with an interconnecting door. Both rooms had their own ensuite bathrooms, with the double having a slightly larger one than the other. A good breakfast was included and this consisted of croissants, bread, various hams, bacon, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, yoghurts, fruit and tea / coffees etc. We ate in the restaurant / bar one evening and had a great range of delicious tapas style dishes. The wine list was also good value. The hotel is very close (5 misn walk) to the central Solaise / Belvarde lifts and there is a good bootroom and individual lockable lockers for each room. The swimming pool on one of the upper floors was lovely and never crowded and there is a good sized steam room and (much) smaller sauna. Fluffy robes and slippers are provided. There is also a good gym (which I didn't use). Two small(ish) negative points - whilst our room had carpets the room above (rm 410) did not and the occupants seemed to return from their nights out at 2am each morning and move a lot of chairs about. Felt pads on the feet of these chairs would reduce the noise impact dramatically. Secondly I felt that the pillows were a bit on the hard side, though I guess that is one's personal taste. All in all I thought the hotel was great value, the staff were all charming and the location was hard to beat. I would definitely stay again.
