We loved this hotel, the staff, the location, the breakfast and our room (the garden room), the peacefulness of the place, yet within minutes you are on the main thoroughfare. We walked to all the main sites, found local restaurants for drinks and evening meals and had superb food in every one. We thought the hotel was good value too (booked directly with the hotel). Thoroughly recommend it for an authentic, personal experience.

This is a quite magnificent value, a charming guest house with excellent facilities, a wonderful continental breakfast in a room overlooking the Grand Canal, on boat stop from the Rialto for connection t and from the airport. The hosts Matteo and Giorgio are incredibly helpful.

The owner of the hotel, Giorgio, is a gem! He was so kind and helpful. Ca’ Angeli is a quaint, charming, clean, and beautiful hotel in a quieter area of Venice. I will stay here again when I return to Venice! If you want to get an authentic family business owned Venice experience, this is it! Lovely place to stay.

The hotel was in a great location - 3 minute walk to water bus stop. Easy to get to. Room was large and comfortable. This is a palace owned by a family - located on the canal there are pieces of furniture present dating back to 15th century. The hotel staff was friendly and the owner Giorgio was extremely helpful in helping us with our return travel to the airport. He was an amazing host. Hotel Rates were very reasonable (booked directly thru hotel). It was located on a quiet street with a cute courtyard. I would recommend staying there when in Venice. I would book there again on my next trip.

What an amazing location in Venice! We [family of 3] drove into Venice from Tuscany, and dropped off our hire car and where at the boat taxi in minutes; 10 minutes through the canals to these central but angelically quite location; It has real history! Standard italian fare for breakfast, high quality continental. We ate out nearby, every other night. We walked in and out of Venice daily. Be mindful if you book a direct deal its CASH only, otherwise count on paying another 100 euros. To mirror other reviews, I'm not going to repeat all the good things about this lovely establishment and the staff but every word is true. Our very first visit to Venice made us look for somewhere very special and this is the place. It is wonderful in all respects; the dock is not directly on the property, it just to the right, but it changes nothing of the charm and locations. LOVED IT!!!

Utterly delightful small hotel. Clean, charming. Good location (6 minute walk to vaporetto stop ). Georgio and Matteo were always helpful, and a pleasure to work with. Our room (#4) was comfortable, clean. Not a large room, and no view to speak of, but it was quiet and the large armoire sufficient to hold all our clothes. The queen bed fantastically comfortable. Huge portrait of madonna and child was a bit jarring at first- but got used to it. Bathroom clean and pleasant. Best part was breakfast: bright sunny room overlooking the grand canal, delicious food, from yoghurt with fixings, to bread and cheese and prosciutto, pastries, had boiled eggs, fresh orange juice. Will definitely stay there again if we get back to Venice!!

Go back in time and stay in a Venetian dream in this beautifully preserved hotel. The staff are really friendly. Location is perfect as it is in a quiet alley over looking the canal. Not one tourist in site until you walk out of a few lanes towards the busier parts of Venice. The morning breakfast is a charm of it’s own given the dining room, breakfast spread and music. The room sizes are also very large by European standards.
