Hotel Ilapuram

I'm giving 2 star rating for 2 reasons, 1, it is close to railway station and serves my purpose, 2ndly the room service was quick and good, but this is no where near a 3-star hotel standard, I paid 3.5K per my stay and you can get much better places for this price, the room and furniture in the room including beds are very old and not comfortable at all. The food is expensive and not worth ofcourse the quanity is good. The bathroom is just OK and no hot water if you prefer that. It is definitely not ideal for family stay unless it is just 1 day trip and want to stay close to railway station. I booked this hotel based on the name and legacy but looks like the standards have dropped or the maintenance aspects were not taken good care.

Stayed in this hotel for attending a conference in last January, the hotel is one of the prime properties of the city and the location is absolutely good very near to all the possible places in Vijayawada, the rooms are very good, But room service could have been better, in ***y places outside the rooms the age of the hotel can we noticed. that is one thing that should be looked upon, the Reception area is large, the food quality in the restaurant as well is the in the room service is very tasty and the prices does not seems to be expensive when you compared to the standard of the hotel. Overall Good!

This hotel really depressed me somewhat, considering ***y in the town of Bezawada called it their best. Large big hotel & the location is good, having close proximity to the railway and the bust station. But the moment you step inside, the drab coloured reception area starts taking your spirit away. Stayed for two days, when I found that the AC device inside the room makes annoying loud noise (much of it's control are not working), water takes a long time to drain in the bathroom, paint in the wall are peeling out in form of flakes. If you reach this place driving yourself in your own car, much time will be wasted to find out a parking area for your car each and every time you take it out. Limited parking area, most of it occupied by the restaurant goers.

Had stayed in Illappuram from Jan 26.1.23 to 28.1.23 .Hotel has 24 hr check in chck out facility. Coming to hotel can say very nice .Rooms all are neatly kept and everyday morning housekeeping staff comes and cleans room and bathroom towels all are replaced with new ones. As i hda gone for meeting didnt visit their restaurant but the food we got from there was goo. Regarding rooms of 5th floor looks worn out and requires complete renovation. I would recommend travellers to go for 4th floor rooms and washrooms too was good large spacious and kept clean. Coming to car parking space too was sufficient for cars to park and I saw person cleaning car parking ground with mop all. I would really recommend travellers both solo and families to stay in this hotel

I would give no stars for the experience I had with organising an event with the convention centre DONOT TRUST THE EVENT ***AGERS RECOMMENDED BY THE HOTEL ***AGEMENT. My Personal story with this hotel DATED 4-JAN-2023. I'm disappointed with the way hotel handles the events in the convention centre. the food was stolen and we were billed for 200 plates when only 100 guests have attended to the event. we were forced to pay the full money for 200 plates and they even refused to let us donate the remaining food to a nearby orphanage. The ***ager was very rude when we asked for the leftover food. they have recommended an event ***ager who turned out to be very un-professional. the work that has been agreed was not delivered on time and the event ***ager is unresponsive, he didn't deliver the event photographs and videos as per the agreement. We approached the hotel ***ager who introduced the event ***ager and the ***ager is unwilling to take any responsibility. Looks like there is lot of corruption happening in the middle ***agement of this hotel. I would suggest that the hotel Owner/CEO looks into this matter seriously and prevent such fraud to happen to other guests.
