Green Village Resort

We stayed for 4 nights at the end of May. The resort is small, but the grounds were beautiful and well kept. Room was okay in traditional setting. Clean but can do with some refurbishment. Can do very light cooking in the kitchen, not very well equipped - no kettle provided nor a pan. Pool was too cold when we were there but it would be nice in the peak of summer. Good sized kids pool for splashing about. Beach was 15-20 mins walk. You can drive if you want, with free parking. The resort provided sunbeds and umbrella. It was supposed to be 2 sunbeds per room but as there weren’t many people, we were allowed four. We walked the length of the beach from end to end, the other end near Simius was more beautiful - clear, emerald waters with fish swimming near the shore. Sardinia is expensive so don’t expect luxury with the price you pay. The hotel is a 3 star.

The rooms (bungalows) are super out dated against an average price of €350 (we stayed 14 nights). Refrigerator didn’t work 100%, very noisy airco unit (btw Airco only available in the living room and nit in the bedrooms (don’t stay here in case you want privacy) . No flexibility when we discovered we need I return back home 4 nights earlier…and noticed the receptionist 4 nights ahead! Expected some more understanding from an up-priced place like this.

The resort is a 3 star and it honestly doesn’t deserve more. The staff is really kind (with the exception of the director that behaved really impolitely in one occasion with other guests for really futile matters). The swimming pool is not always clean (late in the afternoon is almost always fool of dead insects) and the small house we were accommodated needed maintenance (toilet paper support broken, wc seat poorly fixed) not speaking about the boiler, so small that 2 or 3 of us had to take cold showers every day. It was clearly undersized for 5-6 guests. The bushes around the house needed to be trimmed and we had an invasion of ants. The air conditioner was almost useless during the hottest days and the tiles of the terrace in front of the house are of such a poor quality that they become really slippery when wet and in fact I fell and needed medication after I cleaned the surface to get rid of the ants. We travelled in 6 and they gave us 1 beach umbrella and 2 sun beds in a very narrow and overcrowded beach… a couple of times near the garbage bins… with a few garbage bags of the previous day that nobody had disposed around us …. and there is no parking that belongs to the resort (even if the travel agency stated they have some), you have to find a spot on the public street… not always an easy task.

We enjoy our stay at the resort, just like last year. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they make you feel at eas. The rooms are very clean en got everything you need. We asked for a waterboiler and they arrange it. The swimming pool is great and very clean. And it's a luxury that there are enough beds, as well at the swimmingpool as on the beach. The location is prefect, not to far to the centre of Villasimius and to the beach (walking distance). Not necessary, but maybe the resort can rent out little golfcars, electric steps or bicycles for those distances. Comparing to other resorts in the neighbourhood, this resort is in terms of price quality ratio and location one of the best, or just the best. Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti presso il residence. La struttura è pulita, le camere non troppo ampie ma adeguate per le vacanze, la nostra casetta aveva anche il patio con un tavolo esterno, la doccia esterna (utilissima quando si torna dal mare). Abbiamo usufruito della piscina (anche se non troppo grande) e ci siamo recati al mare (a piedi non è vicinissimo soprattutto se si hanno dei bambini piccoli, ma è fattibile) splendido! I ragazzi del bar gentilissimi così come la ragazza che ci ha accolti alla reception. I prezzi onesti.

Vacanza stupenda. Struttura bella e funzionale. Personale molto disponibile e attento alle nostre esigenze. Tutto perfetto. Un appunto speciale ad una persona speciale: il bagnino Marcello ci ha supportato per tutta la vacanza. Grazie Marcello per tutto quello che hai fatto per noi. Simone Gareri

Residence molto bello e curato a poca distanza anche a piedi (10 gradevoli minuti) dal centro di Villasimius... Stanze confortevoli tipo apart-hotel con angolo cottura, stoviglie e zona pranzo/soggiorno, ampio balcone con un bel tavolone dove, nel nostro caso, potenzialmente ci si può mangiare comodamente in 8 (!!) vista piscina e giardino... Silenzioso nonostante alcune famiglie con bambini piccoli, bar ben fornito in zona piscina utilizzabile per colazione... ovviamente non hanno cucine e zone pasti essendo solo residence tipo appartamenti e villette, ma è presente in giardino una ampia zona con vari barbecue condivisa utilizzabile dai soggiornanti... Nel prezzo è fornito un servizio sdraio ombrellone nella vicina spiaggia (5-10 minuti a piedi)... Ottima struttura in sè, ma anche come base per poi visitare le varie spiagge di Porto Giunco, Costa Rei, Cala Sinzias... Bella esperienza e da considerare per futuri soggiorni in zona... GRAZIE
