Kamaole Sands - Maui Condo & Home

Kamaole Sands is hands down our favorite condo development in Maui--in front of one of the best beaches on Maui--Kamaole III. Lifegaurded beach with good boogie boarding waves on one side and a gentle, turtle filled cove on the other side. Each condo is individually owned. We found ours thru RentalsMaui*com. Good prices, Nice condos and even nicer people.

Location and manicured landscaping and grounds is what makes this place stand out. We thought the location was fantastic being right across the street from the beach and walking distance to dining, bars, grocery, gas and convenience stores. We took full advantage of the lovely bbq areas which were all very clean and well maintained. Pickle ball or tennis? Yes please, they offer free use of courts and free lessons and the gentleman that runs it is very nice and patient!!! There is a concierge on site to help you book activities, we booked a luau and use of paddle board. Our unit was a 2 bedroom with a loft 3 bathroom with an ocean and courtyard view. My only minor complaint was The WiFi was terrible and desk staff not very friendly. Everything thing else was perfect for our group and I would stay here again.

Unit 7-410. My family (Two Adults, two girls 19 & 17) spent a beautiful week in Maui staying at Kamaole Sands. It’s a fantastic location within minutes walk to the beach and many other restaurants and shops. Easy access to the highway for day exploring too. Many families around enjoying the pool, and family style BBQ areas and just walking the pathways. Quiet at night and also during the day. We had no problem finding chairs at the pool, there is staff going around tidying up and keeping things in order all day. Bathroom facilities were your typical pool restrooms. The two separate family/adult only hot tubs were also a nice option. We really enjoyed the Wednesday hula dancing and live music. A very easy complex to get around, not too big! The pool is cool, but very refreshing. Lots of sun and also many shade options available. There is also a small kids wading pool in a shady area. There is a spot at the pool to rent beach toys, chairs etc. 7-410 condo is on the 4th floor in building 7 facing the gardens and with a very slight ocean view, easily accessible by the elevator and directly next to the stairs. Parking stall was included and very close to our room. The grounds are beautifully maintained and very clean. The views of the grounds and the mountains in the distance while sitting out on the lanai either early morning or later in the evening are just gorgeous. Watching the sky change at sunset and the stars come out was one of the best parts of the day. Minutes walk to the beach. Zero bugs, we barely saw even a mosquito the whole time we were there. The morning wake up call by the resident Mr. Rooster kept us laughing, but wasn't anything crazy! This particular condo is wonderful for a family of 4, or even 6 if people don’t mind sharing a bed! The upper loft bedroom with King bed and bathroom, lower level room with two double beds and bathroom. Beds were very comfortable, the AC was glorious to come into on a hot day, but the option to open the front door and screened lanai door to let the tropical breeze flow through was equally as nice. Lots of space to spread out and relax. Small lanai with a table and 4 chairs. We did read in previous reviews that the heat from the AC unit in the outdoor closet does make the lanai quite warm, but we just turned it off, opened the doors and let the breeze keep the place cool. The kitchen was fairly well equipped and had everything you would need for your stay. They do provide you with some basics of toilet paper, paper towel, laundry pods, bathroom towels, hand towels, face cloths, etc. There were 4 big beach towels and 4 beach chairs provided. No umbrella, no boogie boards, no cooler. As these units are rented privately, each one provides different things to their renters. These were the few things we wish we didn't have to purchase when we arrived. There were also cards, books, games available. 3 televisions and wifi was included. We would have liked to have double the beach towels and

lovely condo unit like new condition. stayed on several different islands and this was the best furnished with all the amenities provided in the unit. great to have 2 full baths-his & hers! kitchen well stocked and full fridge with ice maker. nice back patio but did back to a street though was private and fenced in. pool was wonderful with 2 hot tub featured. beautifully landscaped grounds. about 2 blocks from the ocean & Kam 3 beach excellent for swimming but not great snorkeling though. building 4 sits back so no ocean views but close to the pool. phone did not work during out stay which was a pain since we did not get great reception on our cells. finally had to do internet calling.

My family of 7 stayed at the Kamaole Sands resort for 7 days in December 2023. We had to separate condos. We enjoyed the beauty of the resort. The grounds are very nicely kept. The condos were clean and roomy. We did have an issue with the air conditioner in one of our rentals. It was as simple as calling the maintenance team to turn off some sort of movement sensor. The AC was shutting completely off during the night and day while we were out leaving every sweating in the night. Other than that everything was wonderful. We had a great time at the pool (the water is very cold), and the hot tub talking to the other guests and enjoying the beauty of the resort. The Kam beaches are directly across the street which is wonderful. There are so many shops, restaurants and things to do just in walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed the location and our stay. We will be back again.

We were in Building 5 in room 115. We had 3 condos booked and this was the best of the 3. First floor with a very large sectional comfortable couch, great cushy patio furniture and a wonderful double sized Murphy bed. The master bedroom had a king size bed that was very comfortable. 2 bathrooms both with showers. The master bath had a tub shower and the second shower was a walk-in. Kitchen was well equipped although we didn’t cook. Ceiling fans in the rooms. We didn’t need the AC which is great since the living room AC blew right on the head of the Murphy bed. Lots and lots of drawers. Great internet. 2 big TVs. There was an orange cat that knew how to open the screen door and we had to carry him out daily. Staff was amazing as was the pool and jacuzzi. Loved our stay here. Closet on the patio had chairs, a wagon, floaties, an ice chest, etc. Fridge has an ice maker. Beach across the street and swam with turtles every day.

The grounds are beautiful but that’s where it ends If you want a family pool this is for you but for a honeymoon couple we were overtaken by loud kids during the day and drink loud adults at night We couldn’t even get in the hot tub Our condo was straight out of the 70s and filthy Teared of cigarette smoke with nicotine stained outlets, filthy popcorn ceiling and bleach stained bed spread Broken appliances and TVs Just eww

Our room was very comfortable and had a great view. After exploring the island, we also realized what a great location we were in most everything was walking distance. The grounds were very pretty and the best snorkeling and turtles just across the street.

We had a five star stay at Kamaole Sands in condo 110 building 10. The owners are great! The house is well stocked and even includes beach chairs, umbrella and toys. The bed is comfortable and the view is outstanding!!! There is a beautiful fountain right outside the lanai and an ocean view too.
