Ohiwa Seascape Studios

Such a great location, set in native bushland and close to the beach and walking tracks. We had the upstairs Honey Loft which gave us plenty of inside and outside space, with views to the beach. Excellent facilities, everything was very clean and comfortable. Ideal for self-catering. Stephan was a wonderful host which was much appreciated

This was the nicest place we stayed on the North Island, by far. The room was bright, clean, sunny and well appointed, with a jacuzzi and a full kitchen. Five minutes away is beach access to one of the prettiest, quietest beaches you'll ever see, plus a fantastic park down the road (with glow worms!). Stephen is a wonderful host. This is just an amazing value. Stay here!

Absolutely fabulous. Stayed in well-equipped and beautiful Honey Loft apar**ent. Owner friendly and informative. Building in bushland setting with glimpses of sea from windows, very relaxing environment. Short uphill stroll behind the apar**ent, sit on the seat to view beautiful scenery (photo). Would certainly stay at Ohiwa Seascape Studios again.

Perfect stopover for overnight though was hard to leave as so quiet and tranquil amongst the native trees and birdsong. Out of the way across from the long stretching Ohope Beach but close enough drive to cafes and such if needed. Would be perfect as a couples retreat.

Beautiful place to stay. Clean and spacious and tastefully appointed. Host was lovely and very helpful. Great location close to bush and beach. Thanks so much Ohiwa seascapes. Our only regret is we couldn’t stay longer But hope to be back some day

I think there were only three units in this place. My room was quite modern and well equipped. Friendly and accommodating host. Had a nice green space and view that I would have loved to enjoy had the weather cooperated. Would recommend to anyone seeking a rather private getaway in a nice location with a great view.

Lovely clean spacious room, kitchen, lovely views, the sea 'waved' me to sleep, owner friendly. Only problem was the room was up stairs, parking was not that close with only one of me to carry everything.

Really beautiful peaceful setting. Our studio had the most wonderful spa bath and bathroom with views out to the ocean. There are four studios I think. The top ones look to share a deck and would have the best views. There is a shady garden also views with table and chairs for the warmer months. Facilities were very clean and bed lovely and comfortable. A bit of noise travels between the studios.

Wonderful studio apar**ent, with everything you need to look after your self. Beautiful and clean. Fabulous view from the bathroom with the most enormous two person spa bath. Lovely garden to sit and relax in with stunning views of the ocean. Stephan was very helpful and friendly, inviting us to join him and some friends for drinks for an hour, if we wished, all we had to do was bring glasses and a bottle. Got to meet some of the lovely people that live in the community. A short drive to Ohope and not to far to get to some good walking. Very good local track at the bottom of the drive, taking you along the beach and up to the headland. The sort of place where you can do as little or as much as you wish. Very relaxing.
