Avis : Surfeel Hotel Wakkanai

Very good experience with this hotel, their set up and the location is perfect and I can take photo with bambinos at the parking lot 👍🤩

A hotel is located not very far from the ferry and location itself is very quiet, if you would like to travel to other island this is very convenient for you. However Surfeel does not have any convenient shop for you to walk by (if you don’t have a car). The internet is quite slow and sometimes would disconnect itself, other than that it’s a very lovely hotel with great breakfast.

An excellent stay. You can see the hotel from the station, it’s very easy to get to. Whilst it does feel slightly old on the inside, the rooms are big enough (with a proper-sized bath too), and the service is as good as you would expect of a Japanese hotel. Also has lovely views from the ocean-side rooms.

Hotel is clean and well maintained. We were delighted to have Jessica Cheong to who was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the restaurant staff were rather rigid, we wanted to order coffee and tea to be drank at the lobby lounge, but they will not allow it. No exception given despite being hotel guests.

Hotel is priced on the high side considering the condition, amenities and service. Because there is a lack of amenities around the hotel, the restaurant food are also on the high pricing side.

This hotel is amazing. Its location is the best. Less than 5mins walk from JR. You can see the Dome from the room. The restaurant is awesome, low price and excellent service! Room space is big.

I stayed at this budget hotel during my trip and had a great experience. The location is convenient — close to the town and a few restaurants or convenience stores. The room was clean and basic, with a comfortable bed and good heating. Bathrooms is clean and Wi-Fi worked well. The staff were friendly and helpful, even though their English was limited.

Front gave me the upgrade. (Royal suite room) It was perfect of my entire life.

The location of the hotel is cool. Facing the sea. Very nice view. But the staff is not very friendly and helpful. Not pleasant.

Very good view of the Wakkanai harbour! And closed to tourist spots and good restaurants!

Very good not far from station, convenient shop and port to Rishiri island
