Best value for money! Lovely and warm and clean and stocked with everything you could need including toiletries. Would 100% recommend.

This is a gem of a motel and we really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very welcoming and It was a lovely room, with a really comfortable bed and they even provided ground coffee and a cafetiere, which was very welcome. ( Not many places offer fresh ground coffee) The room was very clean and well maintained, with plenty of hot water and nice body wash and hand cream. The kitchen was well equipped and we got fresh milk on arrival.

This place is located in Westport, a small city in the northwest corner of the South Island of New Zealand. It's a short drive to groceries and restaurants in town. The rooms are quiet but a bit stuffy with too much unnecessary furniture in them. There is a decent laundry available for $10.

Nice welcome with milk and shortbread given. Unit tidy enough. Nice spa bath. Everything pretty clean. Some towels could do with replacement. Parking you need to park on an angle. Plenty of tv channel choices. Water also provided. Central Westport.

Lovely welcoming hosts, Dave and Debbie. Greeted with just-baked shortbread cookies and a bottle of milk. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Excellent shower. A 10 out of 10! Will come again and recommend Buller Court to friends or anyone who asks.

Could we have asked for a better welcome! - amazing generous hospitality, we arrived late where shown to our room, and given fresh shortbread biscuits and milk. Relaxing spa with delicious body wash and great sleeps in the luxurious beds. Perfect. Just a small trot to restaurants and a convience store next door. Thank you!!

Liked · The Wife & I had a quite modern 2 Bedroom apartment which had a BIG BATHROOM with a Spa/Bath/Shower set up. Whilst we didn't use the Spa, the Shower was First Class with terrific hot water & pressure. I'd even go as far as saying "the best shower on the West Coast of NZ" & that's important when you consider how cold it can get on the West Coast. A well set up Kitchen enables you to easily prepare your meals. Our preference was to buy pre-made, ready to heat meals from the nearby Coles Supermarket & just Micro-wave them to the desired temperature. If you've got some USA Style Reverse Park experience, that'll stand you in good stead if you draw a Unit where a Right Hand-Side reverse park is needed. But I will say this regardless of the style of Reverse Parking needed, we have never experienced parking so close to your apartment front door, it was a case of just open the rear of the SUV & place the luggage inside the front door. A lovely apartment to spend a holiday in. Disliked · Our first night I tried the Main Bedroom TV but found it turned off at the wall behind the TV itself, a wee bit strange I thought. However once I turned it on all was good. That was until I turned it off with the remote at bedtime, the TV itself must not have wanted to sleep, because it stayed on with a low glow & a makers logo bouncing around the screen. It was then I realized why it was turned off at the wall, a minor problem to remedy but I am a retired Electrician.

This motel would have to be one of the nicest & most well equipped motel we have stayed at ever. Very welcoming with home baking & greeted by a a big fluffy Moose (cat) & very modern & tidy. Very central, would highly recommend. Thank you

A awesome stay here at Buller Court. I have stayed next door a few times at the Westport Spa Motel, which this place seems to manage. This time I decided to try this one to change things up. As always, lovely friendly service at Reception, with fresh milk (No UHT rubbish yay!), and still warm, melt in your mouth homemade shortbread brought across to my room soon after checking in. I love that the parking outside each of the rooms are undercover, meaning you don't need to unload/load the car in the rain. Not needed on this trip to Buller however, with absolutely perfect weather. The Room was spacious, with comfortable furnishings, and a large ranchslider leading out to lush gardens - complete with friendly Cat :) Lots of nice little touches, like a provided Umbrella for walks into town, Filtered Water in the fridge, heaps of Soaps/Shampoos ect. The Motel has the Sky Decoder, with Sky Sports ect. You can also borrow from a huge library of DVDs from Reception to watch. The Kitchenette has a Cook Top and Rangehood, with plenty of Cookware/Utensils to cook a decent meal. Not that you need to cook in Westport, with so many excellent Restaurants to choose from! The Denny Dog and Portside are consistently perfect. Walking distance to town and both New World and Fresh Choice Supermarkets. 5 minute drive from the Airport. On the main drag (Palmerston Street), but no issues with any road noise. Small amount of noise from fellow guests, but nothing to bothersome at all, especially considering they were a mass group travelling together by the looks of it. Comfortable bed, with good quality and clean linen. Slept really well, I definitely thought it was more comfortable than next door at the Westport Spa. Price was excellent and I will definitely be back :) Thanks for a awesome stay :)
