When we got there Andy gave us a lovely welcome and was so helpful, our room was lovely and clean and smelt lovely,would definitely recommend to our family and friends and dog friendly so that’s a bonus to us, was only a short walk to beach and shops too.

Well, what a brilliant stay we had, fantastic welcome, the lovely lady that does the cleaning, you are brilliant, room was spotless!!! She also reminded me the owners name which I had forgot, it was Rick with a silent p at the front...I was able to take my dog, which was also brilliant..my mum and uncle also stayed with me, we all had an absolute fantastic stay here. Would highly recommend 👌

Timrick is pleasant enough and I liked the decor with its nautical theme. Proprietor met me on arrival and welcomed me. Always available when I needed something or to ask for directions. I asked for some simple things and they were catered for. Kettle in room and preference for a room with only one flight of stairs. All arranged. Bed nicely presented with towels and toiletries, felt homely on entry to the room. Bed a little creaky. I was able to borrow an ironing board and iron. Some noisy guests in the early hours but the proprietor used his best endeavours to remedy this, for which I'm grateful.

Pros- free parking permit for Swannery/Lodmoor car parks; complimentary mini toiletries; plenty of tea/coffee including decaf and good biscuits; clean smelling towels/bedding; ensuite (though this is not standard). Cons- walked in to front room and wasn't greeted but looked at blankly so I wondered whether I'd just walked in to someone's house/it wasn't a guest lodge anymore; room had been 'cleaned' but it just wasn't clean - carpet was gross, bathroom floor not swept/mopped, dust on top of curtains, stain on bedding; there was no room to swing a cat in there (you couldn't open either the ensuite or shower doors fully) and the feeling of a lack of space wasn't helped by a low ceiling height; behind the bed there was a random assortment of wood; spots of black mould around window frames/shower; shower was SO weak and was either icy cold or scalding hot (it took us about 15m across 2 showers to get it about right!) We only stayed for 2 nights and it was passable as the only time we spent there was to sleep/shower but any longer and we wouldn't have kept the booking as it just wasn't comfortable. If you just want a bed/loo, aren't fussed on cleanliness/showering, and want a passable hangout space (the front room has sofas/chairs galore alongside various furniture and bits and bobs with no intention or logic), it'd be fine - my conclusion was basically if you want a cheap place to sleep off a night out it'd suffice, for anything else, avoid!

The owner is very welcoming and nice but my room was poor, there was someone else's dirty sock in the corner, and the bed was so old/lumpy and uncomfortable, the sheets had old stains on them and need to be chuckled. Blind wasn't wide enough for window so it was like daylight from 4am. Good location for thr beach but wouldn't stay here again.

This is not a 3 star hotel ..onky a 2 star when you get tjete also NO breakfast.they stopped doing these 8 yrs ago we wete told .Rooms are tired looking .not been redecorated since they took over Our Room smelt damp No refridgerator in room .as this was needed for our disabled sons medication The sitting room or dining room that was is now a dump room for old furniture Also No car park as written in write up that was also needed for us.. just a false advertisment of this B&B..how can it be a B&B without Breakfast .disgraceful

On our arrival we were directed to room 1 by a very pleasant lady The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay They provide mini toiletries, plenty of tea and coffees and a hairdryer It was clean and had a cute nautical theme We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again x

Booked a small double room for one night. Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly helpful staff. Good location not far from the sea front. Would stay again. Nice tv, good shower. Ideal place for a short break. kettle, tea ,coffee provided. Enjoyed my stay. Did a fast boat trip to Durdle door and watched the fireworks. Great short break.

Lovely decoration in the rooms, a lovely cute beach theme! Very clean as well. We were located at the front of the lodge so did hear some traffic noise and it was blinds rather than curtains which wouldn’t be my preference. The bathroom was also very small however you can’t grumble for the price and the most ideal location (5mins if that to the beach and same to the train station!). The staff were super friendly and allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel even once checked out and went above and beyond for you!
