Good Medicine Lodge

There is so much to rave about in this unassuming roadside Lodge. My first impression was "meh" because of the old fashioned decor; but...SPOTLESSLY clean and I mean spotless. DROP DEAD breakfast, and I am a foodie and a bit of a food snob. Really comfortable bed in an attractive simple room. LOVELY people that work there - helpful and charming. Hot water is not the hottest, but oh well you can't have everything.

This bed & breakfast is incredibly charming, clean, well kept and well thought out. The breakfast, appetizers and hospitality are truly one of a kind. We could not have been more pleased with our experience. The homemade sourdough, cookies and gourmet breakfast were delightful, along with home brewed coffee and delicious loose leaf teas. The shampoo & conditioner were very nice. Loved all the attention to detail & love shown in this lovely lodge.

Great little place just outside of the hustle in town. Loved the special attention, snacks and great food. We couldn't make breakfast times so they made us one to go ahead of time to take with us to Glacier. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time !! We are already talking about staying here again ! Shayla and crew were great — so nice and very helpful. ( they deserve pay raise ! They all made our stay top notch !!) Delicious homemade cookies available all day. The breakfasts were outstanding!! The room was cozy and very comfortable! Rooms supplied with nice shampoo- soaps and towels . The 7 am coffee was fantastic !! Highly recommend.

Love love love the good medicine lodge! Wow! What a fantastic b&b experience! Breakfast was amazing every morning…top notch! Staff was wonderful! Loved that we had laundry and snacks available to us. Room was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again!!!!

Perfection! Huckleberry Suite was a wonderful retreat after long days in Glacier National Park, the shower and soaking tub were the best for aching muscles. The breakfast every morning was delicious and filling, but what we appreciated most were the conversations we had with the innkeepers; Shayla and Megan, and other guest. It was like having breakfast in your own kitchen (without the cooking and cleaning). A large assortment of available snacks got us through the day at Glacier while happy hour was wonderful with wine, beer and delicious food. Don’t miss the cookie jar! The location was just a short stroll to town and many restaurants. Shayla had great recommendations for dinner. Our time at GML was the highlight of our trip.

Shayla and her team at Good Medicine Lodge are super friendly and welcoming. Our suite was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom well-appointed with great water pressure! Homemade cookies, charcuterie tray, beer, wine are all waiting for you at check-in. Our breakfast of French toast with huckleberry jam was delicious and we were ready for our day. Staying at Good Medicine Lodge kicked our vacation off on the right foot! Thank you!!

We stayed at the GML while visiting Glacier National park. It was a wonderful experience. This is more than just a B&B, it is more like a rustic boutique hotel. The staff is wonderful, chipper and helpful. Of note is Shayla, the Innkeeper, who was most helpful with excellent advice about routes to take, timing of visits and other advice, as well as making us feel welcome and cared for. Riana served wonderful breakfast selections and worked the breakfast room checking every table, and Meghan(with whom we interacted less) was also wonderful. Breakfast is excellent. Every evening there is charcuterie and cookies, as well as beverages available. In fact, beverages and snacks are available at all times. The room was ample, comfortable and well appointed. it faced a beautiful patio and has a veranda where one could sit and rock the cares away. We did not use the hot tub, also available in the common deck. The lodge is a wooden structure, very pretty and has a very comfortable and welcoming lobby and a tv room. The lodge also has a laundry room for guests(including a receptacle with quarters for the guests to use to work the washer and drier!). Location is great across a bridge from town, essentially one to two minutes from the center of town. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this place greatly. It had changed ownership about 2 weeks before our arrival. We hope that new ownership will keep the staff and the business culture of the place.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Daily breakfast was delicious and complimentary drinks and snacks are always available. Don’t forget your bathing suit for the relaxing sauna. There is even a laundry room! This place is cozy and comfortable!
