Hôtels près de St Mary＇s Catholic Cathedral, Windhoek

Hay dos hoteles Hilton, uno al lado del otro. De un lobby al otro lobby se tarda 1 minuto caminando. El hotel es nuevo. Las habitaciones son amplias. La cama es cómoda. El baño tiene buena presión de agua. La recepción del wifi es muy buena. La pisicina se ubica en el primer piso. El gym está cerrado, pero te dan la opción de usar el gym del otro Hilton. El desayuno es básico: Té, café, huevos, salchichas, fruta y panes. Yo escribí al hotel para preguntar si tenían opciones sin gluten y me respondieron que sí. Al llegar no tenían opciones sin gluten. El último día de mi estancia fueron al otro Hilton y me trajeron un poco de pan sin gluten. La ubicación del hotel es buena, a pasos de una de las calles principales con centros comerciales y restaurantes, la iglesia alemana, el Edificio que Corea del Norte hizo a Windohek y algunas cafeterías. Las habitaciones son insonorizadas, con lo cual es muy tranquilo y se duerme muy bien. Las fotos que salen en Trip.com las deben actualizar, ya varias corresponden al otro Hotel Hilton. Deux super jours avant le vol d'hiver en Allemagne! Très bon service et mercredi jour de cocktail. Les chambres étaient très propres, bien équipées et modernes et le personnel très utile et compétent. Nous aurions aimé refroidir dans la piscine et le petit-déjeuner buffet était géant👍

Il est situé au centre de la capitale de la Namibie, Windhoek, dans la rue principale de la ville. *** Les activités touristiques et les centres d'information sont accessibles à pied et l'hôtel dispose d'un groupe live animé le soir. Le buffet est incroyable avec des variétés de fruits de mer aux viandes et desserts. Il y a aussi un petit-déjeuner buffet avec plusieurs plats européens et américains ainsi que des plats chinois au choix.

A mall is next door but you need to taxi to see any sites. Outlets are strangely hidden behind furniture which makes it inconvenient to charge your phone. The remote for the TV and A/C is bizarrely given to you with the room key, it should stay in the room. And thus the a/c was not on when I entered the room. The free bottles water was not the fridge where I could have had cold water waiting for me. The behind the bed lamp takes the room lighting from dim yellow to natural white yet it doesn't stay on for long and would start flickering. The ceiling light is in your eyes when you're lying in bed looking at your phone. I found a roach in my room so I shouldn't have left my suitcase open. Bedsheets had a blood stain on them. There's no room for towels in the bedroom so it took me a minute to find them in the room. No solid hand soap for sink, just body wash in a tube. Towel had stains on it, bathroom mirror is too low, its next to the sink. it should be a few inches higher. Rate is $51 a night for a single room, they they charge extra per child. Don't get a room on the first floor. The hotel doesn't have umbrellas for guests. The restaurant menu does not have a meat free pasta option for vegetarians. They have a whole seafood section but not a vegetarian option. The alfredo pasta was more like a cheddar soup. Service is slow in restaurant, then asked if I wanted to leave a tip. They had an impressive collection of cakes. For breakfast they put the salami together with the cheese, cucumber and tomatoes and only one tong. I don't want to eat a cucumber that's touching meat. The mushrooms were burnt beyond recognition. Only canned fruit was served at breakfast. I liked the passion fruit welcome drink when I arrived at the hotel.

Would recommend the hotel for a quick stay in Windhoek. It’s located near a mall wifi a cinema, restaurants.
