Venice Hotel

The worst pool in Yerevan. 0 service, the food is getting ready in 2-3 hours. Manager and the waiters are so rude. No places in lockers, they offer you to put your clothes in men wardrobe. 🫣 I mean the place doesn’t worth the service you are getting. Much better places in Yerevan than this, so if you really want to get good rest except of getting angry and being treated so badly save your nerves!

Run away from this hotel. Our holidays were fully ruined. Too much stress and headaches every day. The swimming pool downstairs has the loudest club music in the whole Yerevan. I feel sorry for the people who live near by. When I say loud I mean you cannot even say a word on the 4th floor with closed windows. You would have to yell. Near the pool forget about talking! If you want a rest during the day it is not going to happen. Music is from early morning until 8pm. I have asked staff to make it not too loud due to the health issues while having very high temperature after the surgery day before, they laughed in my face. She even told me I am not sick looking at my bandages from surgery. The lady claiming to be a manager (I am in doubt) named Elina K. was rudely telling me that I can leave the hotel but they wont make music less. She said they will refund but it was a lie like everything else. After ********** contacted them on my behalf they told them that stay is not refundable. It was not turned down even a bit!!! The staff behaviour is another story. You can't even talk to them. They interrupt, not allowing you to say a word, they yell at you, they do not care literally a bit about their clients. There is a renovation taking place, so on top of the music you have banging. No insolation (as they advertise) at all. You hear everything. Cleaning lady does not care about your privacy and sign on the door do not enter. She opens your door with her key without nocking and barge in. No apologies. She even laughs when you ask her to leave. I am not sure she even speaks any languages except Armenian (I have tried to speak on 2 languages with her). Please hide you valuables while away. Sign on the door do not help! Everything you reed in add is not true. Bottled water is free in add but it is not a case. You have to pay for water. They told us the only free water they provide is tap water! Even tissues in a room they did not want to replace! So cheap! Lights were flickering and unsafe to use, they hang near my bed over the head making it unsafe. I asked to fix it but no one came. We stayed in darkness during the evening. No kettle in a room, no matter how many times we asked. Food in the restaurant is basic, dry and very cheap and never enough plates, cups, glasses. You have to go and ask all the time waiting while they wash used ones. For ages! No proper WI-FI, forget about it. Does not work in bedrooms, very poor in common areas. At the end they even told us to leave at 12pm while check out time on the site is 2pm. Some of the horrible moments of our stay: they accused us to use mini bar at the end and demanded to pay for things which were never there! You literally can't argue. And there is no list of the things in the room. So they just made up some missing items and force you to pay for this! So unprofessional and cheap. Have some respect! Booked a suite room for one week at the beginning of May, 2022. One day prior to check-in I was called by a hotel manager who told me that: 1) the booked room for 4 persons is destroyed by the flood :) 2) she can offer me to cancel my booking and make a new one: 2 rooms for 2 persons 3) each of these rooms for 2 is now more expensive than initially was price for one room for 4 4) I should take a decision as soon as possbile as this 2 + 2 for a twice price might be booked by someone else at any moment There were no excuses I have heard at all. I was a little bit surprised by this strange offer and asked her to act by the rules of Booking service and provide me similar accomodation for the same price as I have booked initially. She refused to do that in a rude tone. As a summary, I had to search for another accomodation considering it was just one day prior to my arrival and it was a high season period at the beginning of May. Either the booked room was really destroyed by the flood or they just decided to raise the prices for high season period - choose yourself which of these options you will likely believe.
