Alert!!! I made a booking on 13th Frbruary to the Crystal Hostel at Yerevan, Armenia for the dates 24.03.2022 to 27.03.2022. We are supposed to check in today and when we went to the hostel, the guy told us that the hostel is full and he can't help us. I'm really frustrated because I didn't get a cancellation notification or even any sort of communication from the hotel side stating that they are giving our booked room to someone else. This is seriously atrocious & what's more infuriating is the hostel people's apathy or lack of concern for their customers. I have my wife & a 2.5 years old kid with me. How can they expect me to find accommodation at the last moment without any prior intimation. I chose this hostel because of its good rating on ***********. The major point of anger is they still have my name on their booking list. And, the booking status is still active on my ID also but I was rejected a room for me & my family when I approached the hostel. We were stranded for 3 hours in the freezing night. I had to scour the whole city to find reasonably priced accommodation at the last moment but given the timing, I couldn't find one & now I had to go for another booking that is 3x my budget. Crystal hostel have totally ruined my vacation to Armenia. I was having a very good time until today & now they left me with utter frustration, disbelief and I'm infuriated beyond I can even explain.

Все заявленное не соответствует действительности. Для 4-х местных номеров указана площадь 40 кв. м,, по факту это очень тесные комнаты размером 2*2 м. Комнаты на 4-х человек на втором этаже тоже малогабаритные и неудобные. Номер типа "Люкс" имеет вид из окна просто стена на расстоянии руки. Ванная комната одна, туалет внизу тоже один и при полной заполняемости хостела этого мало. Оконные фрамуги сломаны сломаны, в помещениях нет кондиционеров, жара. Продавленные матрасы, не соответствующие размерам кроватей, мебель старая. удивляюсь тем, кто ставит высокие оценки, не знают другого опыта, видимо. Очень шумно, проходной двор по сути и при этом никакой охраны и безопасности, тем более, что сам хозяин еще и ведет себя непорядочно по отношению к женщинам. Хостел позиционируется как семейный дом, но семьей отдыхать там просто ад! Два плюса у хостела - расположение и цена. Максимум на одну ночь и не больше!.
