Villa Marine Holiday Apartments Cairns

Stayed there with my little dog while my vehicle was being fixed. People were very friendly and helpful right from the beginning. The room was clean and comfortable. Great shower. Small backyard for my dog to sneak out at night

The perfect spot for a relaxing holiday in Cairns. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable with everything you need. The pool is big and great for the whole family. The beach is a couple of minutes walk away. Yorkeys Knob itself is very well located, near enough to Cairns. Peter, the owner, was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful with finding and booking activities and made our week in Cairns fantastic. We’ll definitely come back to Villa Marine next time we’re on holiday in the region! Thanks!

Loved staying here with my partner. Beautiful location, the pool nestled in next to the jungle made for a nice tropical setting. Quality aircon in the room with comfy beds. Just across the road from the beach too!

I had been recommended Villa Marine by a friend who lives at yorkeys knob. Oh my goodness 😍 What a gem of a place this is !!! If I’d realised how special it was… I would have come sooner If you are after tranquility , a peaceful oasis and really helpful and lovely hosts . This is your place The pool looks inviting from your door step The beach is less than a minutes walk You can hear the birds chirping from your bed as you awake The queen bed with the mosquito net is a classy touch and reminded me of my childhood I honestly can’t wait to return

It’s the kind of place where you feel away from it all. The host Peter is unobstrusive and is present when you need him. It was a clean, inviting space with a touch of luxury with the 10 inch shower rose and personal touches such as fresh flowers on the bed as a welcome. As a booking agent for tours Peter is really helpful which is a bonus. I left my power cord there it was kept and I called a week later and picked it up, so very grateful. An overall refreshing experience. Local coffee is brilliant and the fish and chip shop. Highly recommend staying here.

Tried booking for a couple of nights with our dog (husbands companion dog) We have a young dog, fully house trained and a larger breed, host asked what breed and I told him. He advised that because of her breed could cause problems. I asked how so? He said something along the lines of being a dangerous breed, which she is not! This guy has no idea about dogs or the various breeds and certainly not a pet friendly venue or host, clearly all about the money. These are the types of people that give humans a bad name!

Peter, your host, is an extremely likeable and knowledgeable local who radiates the warmth or real tropical hospitality. Proven by winning the cairns tourism associations most prestigious award for outstanding customer service which is a great achievement that is well deserved. Roz is the perfect compliment to Peters service, she excels in attending to customer needs far above satisfaction levels, 100% is her starting point. After many personal losses and disappointments in the last few years, I decided to treat myself to a mini-break. Pete and Rommie allocated me the Rainforest apartment. The serene surroundings, eclectic pieces of furniture and art, the beautiful idiosyncratic rooms with personal touches, made one feel that you were a guest in someone's beautiful home. The love is evident as you gaze at every carefully collected or crafted piece. The energy of the space felt akin to the Buddhist temples I had entered. A veil of separation takes Villa Marine from just another holiday apartment to a spiritual and healing space. And the usual of course, clean crisp linen, tour booking, pool, very accommodating hosts. Thank you, Pete and Rom, for the healing space, time and care, I needed to regain my balance.
