Cactus Hotel

Thank you cactus for saving me from the hell hole hotel I was in ( I moved from a bad hotel ) I'm a returning customer and just love this hotel. It's a slice of peace and paradise in the middle of the party Double glazed rooms means no noise ! Really nice newly decorated rooms with everything u need Thank u guys for everything

The pictures of the rooms are not accurate, the bathroom was tiny, the shower itself only fits a small child, the noise coming from the newly licensed club to the rear of the property is so loud it literally sounds like your IN the club & does not stop until 3-4am each morning. As a whole it is the most substandard accommodation I have ever stayed in, worse than a hostel. We booked 2 rooms for 7 nights & left immediately upon check in. The hotel kept our deposits but refunded the balance & we found rooms in Tsilivi in a 4 star hotel for the same price. Would never recommend this place.

A little Gem within the craziness that laganas is. The staff are all so kind and helpful we had the best stay ever. If anything our room could do with some refurbishing. However i would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Cactus hotel for making our holiday so special.

3years ago, but the team and owner on this hotel are awesome. I loved being here every day. I travelled with a friend w/o partying. There is no need for that when you can travel on the island during the day. Perfect hotel and crew!

This hotel is the best in Lagana. The staff are amazing. You will be treated like royalty. Amazing breakfast. This is a must place to stay. It’s close to the beech. 3 minutes walk. 3 minutes walk to the main *****

Lovely little family run hotel set back from the main *****, staff couldn’t do enough for you 10/10 for there service, breakfast was lovely and freshly made. sun beds were amazing so comfortable Rooms were a decent size with nice comfortable beds shower cubicle was a bit on the small size but we managed Only down side was it was next to a very busy road so lots of noise when sunbathing Also if you don’t like being around 18-20 year old then this is not the place for you Beach was a 5 minute walk with lots of restaurants to choose from Overall I would give it a 8/10

Stayed for 14 days in mid August. A really great gem of a hotel, comfortable, room with all that you need really and within good walking distance of the fantastic laganas beach and ***** with all the bars. Hardly heard any noise from the ***** and it is distance enough away for peace and quiet. Breakfast very good, good selection of continental and greek choices and certainly did its job everyday. Pool area nice as well with a relaxed feel and bar snacks very reasonable too. A big thanks to manager Dennis and staff throughout. Always helpful,made the stay a real pleasant one. The bar does great happy hour drinks 8pm til 10 everyday which was great too. Dennis gave some great tips on where to go and what to do and on our last night, recommended a great Greek restaurant with live music, which was fantastic food, very reasonably priced and great entertainment all round. This hotel caters nicely for couples, families and groups. Thanks again Dennis and all at Cactus for a great stay. Will definitely be back again.

This hotel is in a good location, not too far from town (walking distance) and Dennis and his team are great, very attentive and helpful and willing to impart their knowledge if needed. We got picked up once we arrived by a taxi pre arranged by Dennis, which is much appreciated, especially in the heat. We had an issue with a leaking shower, which was promptly addressed. Breakfast is nothing special and the wi-fi, most times, was really bad. Not sure if it was the location of our room, but it was quite woeful. The shower was quite small too. Some cleaning stuff (sponge, dishwashing liquid etc), would not go astray in the small kitchen. A few times there were a few things on the menu that were unavailable to order for lunch. A note about this hotel, at the risk of sounding like an old fart the majority of guests at this hotel are quite young, which surprised me. I was expecting a few more families around, but I guess when you go to a place like Laganas, which is pretty much the 'party and sleazy' part of Zakynthos, you really can't be surprised. Not a big deal, but just be mindful if that's not your thing. We didn't have any issues with any of the guests, just something to note, especially when your kids (8 and 10 respectively), want to spend a bit of time in the pool and they are sharing said pool with these kids; drunk, loud and some getting very rowdy and amorous with each other most times (ah, to be young again!).

I stayed here with my family, we booked a standard room. The room was clean but it had mold in the bathroom and closet, because of which the closet stunk and we couldn't put our clothes in it. We notified the staff about this and they tried cleaning it but that didn't fix it. In my opinion, this is something that should have been fixed prior to giving the rooms out to guests. The room that was advertised was NOT the one we got, our room didn't look nearly as good as the one in the picture. The shower, besides having mold in it, was SO small you couldn't even turn around in it. Due to the location of the standrad room next to the gate, we could hear it opening and closing all night which can be very annoying.
