Zante Pantheon Hotel

Pas si bon, l'emplacement est mauvais, il faut marcher une partie de la route sans trottoirs pour s'y rendre. Les installations ne sont pas bonnes non plus. C'était juste bon marché, mais cela a presque gâché les vacances pour un peu de bon marché. Il est recommandé de séjourner dans un bon hôtel à Zakynthos, cela n'en vaut pas la peine.

Outstanding stay the best yet . lovely location beautiful family run hotel food was lovely . The family are wonderful here they care for the cats and dogs on a separate part of the hotel and are wonderful with them . Cant wait to go back soon .

Lovely hotel and staff. Lovely and clean. Nothing is too much trouble. Great food. Whilst there I celebrated my birthday and my room was decorated with balloons a party hat and a bottle of wine when I got back.

A lovely little hotel set back amongst olive trees, up a steady climb on the road followed by a short, sharp hill to the hotel itself. The hotel has a nice decor to it, the swimming pool is a good size and generally has enough sunbeds to go around. The rooms are spacious, kept clean and tidy every day, and the views from the balcony with sea views are a treat that never gets boring. The staff are all friendly, accommodating, and always there if you need anything. Breakfast was nice with plenty of options, whether you prefer cereal or toast, with eggs sausages, cake etc. The only fruit on offer seemed to be peaches so no other choice in that regard. The lunch and dinner options are also good, plenty to choose from the menu and were nicely made and well priced. The walk down to the local tavernas, bars and beach is about 10-15 mins away, depending on how fast you walk, it might take a bit longer if you decide to go to the far end of the resort. There are taxis available for those who do not want to walk back, they cost anywhere from 7-10 euros and can either be hailed down on the road (if your lucky), going to a taxi rank or asking a restaurant to book one for you. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to visit Tsilivi, it is located in a quiet spot in the Planos end of the resort, situated away from the hustle and bustle of the main *****, but close enough to get to without too much effort. Special mention to Dimitris for helping to decorate the room for a family member on their birthday, it was well received so thank you for this.

Just arrived home from a weeks' stay at the Pantheon and couldn't have asked for a better hotel experience. Not visited Greece in over 25 years but it was so nice to be back, especially enjoying the hospitality of Dimitris and his family. Everything about this hotel was perfect for my daughter and I. Beautiful location set only 10 mins walk from the town, amongst an olive grove as far as the eye could see but with beautiful views of the sea not 15 mins walk away. The room was spotless and remade everyday. The food was excellent, and service exemplary. The pool was perfect size and plenty of sunbeds for those who cherish them! We felt as though we were part of a very special Greek experience and would recommend the hotel, the resort and the month of September, as the perfect combination! Thank you Dimitris and family. We'll be back!

Visited Tsilivi and really have lucked out on this Hotel. What can I say apart from will definitely be staying again if in Zakynthos. Hotel is clean throughout, nice pool, fantastic food and drink. Every morning you get to enjoy a lovely selction for breakfast. Dimitri makes the best cocktails and if you need any information regarding trips he is your man. Great location with Beach,restaurants, shops and bars just a walk down the hill.

We travel a lot and this is the worst hotel we’ve stayed in. I’m amazed at all the good reviews. We asked the owner for a price for renting a car. He asked for how long and when I said 6 days his response was “money, money, money”. We ended up renting from a company on the main road and when he saw we’d done this he didn’t say another word to us. Next morning we went down for breakfast (which was average to say the least) I said good morning to him but he just turned away and this was the scenario for the rest of our stay which made us feel uncomfortable. The shower head in the room was broken and very little storage in the room. This is the first negative review I’ve ever written but felt compelled to do so

What a lovely little hotel The Pantheon is. I recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in Tsilivi. Read all the previous reviews on here to give you an indication of what it's like. Not really suitable for anyone with mobility issues because of the uphill walk from the main road(around 5-10 minutes) but, saying that, you can order a taxi along the main ***** which will have you back in no time. It's a short walk to the main ***** where there plenty of cafes, restaurants, tavernas, bars and shops. Plenty of places off the main ***** as well. Two places of the many I would recommend are Bushi's Place which is a short walk from the hotel and serves great food. And also Zante View which is a fairly nondescript bar that serves snacks BUT it has the best view of any bar/pub/restaurant I've ever been in. It overlooks Tsilivi affording you incredible views during the day and even better views of a stunning sunset each evening. It's about 20-25 mins walk from the hotel and you have to walk uphill so if you think you may struggle then order a taxi at reception. If you're going to the beach then go to the end where Barracuda Bar is because the beach is a lot wider there. Thank you to everyone at The Pantheon for helping make our stay in Zante so memorable. Who knows. We may come back again.....
