I wish I was writing a glowing review for this hotel but I simply cannot as I find it inexcusable that in this day and age there was no complimentary tea/Coffee or even a kettle in the room. Secondly the breakfast was an absolute joke. Boiled eggs and slices of meat with cold bread. Utterly diaspoointing for the cost. The room itself was good and warm but had paper thin walls. I could hear every conversation in the other room and the snoring guests at night. Won't be staying again.

Le balcon était vraiment joli et c'était génial de pouvoir rester avec les montagnes pittoresques en arrière-plan. Le point fort de cet hébergement est le sauna. Il faisait très chaud, ils ont fourni beaucoup de serviettes et j'ai apprécié.
Ils m'ont donné une carte d'hôte et j'ai eu une entrée gratuite au snowpark. J'ai donc loué un traîneau à neige pour 6 francs et je me suis bien amusé. Vous pouvez également bénéficier d’une réduction de 10 % sur Lowker Bar Dermal. Les souvenirs amusants de l'hôtel Seolsan ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ Je les chérirai pour toujours.

La chambre de l'hôtel est bien. La chambre n'est pas petite et très propre. Il est un peu loin de la gare. Il faut appeler une voiture. Mais l'hôtel a un service de station de transport. Le petit-déjeuner est toujours possible. Le service de réception de l'hôtel est réglé. À partir, il y a un service de station de transport. Sauf le long de la place, il n'y a pas d'autres choses à choisir. C'est pas vrai.

Très bon séjour. La chambre est très bonne et les installations sont parfaites. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. En même temps, le magasin a également envoyé un billet de voiture tout le jour, ce qui est nécessaire pour acheter lui-même, 70 raisins.

Great location with matterhorn view & 15min walking distance from the train station / museum etc. The attached photo of the (cloudy) matterhorn is taken from their cafeteria. Staff understandably busy such as at check-in timing, but are otherwise understanding and helpful. Fridge & kettle for shared use at cafeteria. Lockers available to store baggage without cost - but do have $2 coin on hand for locker deposit!

Les chambres sont propres, mais il y a des travaux d'entretien à l'extérieur. C'est très bruyant. Les travaux ont commencé avant 8h du matin, ce qui est très bruyant, ce qui nuit au reste. De plus, il y avait un serveur qui portait de grosses boucles d'oreilles au petit-déjeuner et qui n'était pas sympathique et pourrait être discriminatoire à l'égard des Chinois !

Hotel is clean and comfortable but my swimsuit got stolen. I forgot it in the room upon checkout. 2 hours later I remembered i left it hanging on the door - went back to hotel to retrieve it and staff said they couldn’t find it. 2 days later I called and they still couldn’t find it - so it’s clear it was stolen. I am rather disappointed. Definitely not coming back.

GGuest user123Initially I was a bit apprehensive about this hotel based on reviews but it was a good stay!! Great value for Zermatt! Walking distance about 10 mins from Zermatt station, on shopping street. Toilets and stairway up a bit small but ok for us. Luckily we were located on first floor so didn’t have to climb up too many stairs with our luggage. There’s a pizzeria below. Things to note: didn’t see a bin ( only a small one in toilet) so maybe bring your own plastic bag for a bin as well as room slippers.
Place was clean! However there’s some loud music that played even in the wee hours of the night like 3am, so if you are a light sleeper, you might need to put on some ear plugs to muffle the noise out. Nonetheless, A huge thank you for the stay. Convenient, Breakfast was awesome, simple spread but very heartwarming and the coffee was the most delicious I’ve had. It was the Easter weekend so there’s pretty Easter eggs for breakfast too! The lady owner was lovely and check in and check out was very easy and seamless. We stayed for a night and would recommend this place.

CChiaoThe hotel was in 5 minutes walking from Zermatt train station and it offered free shuttle for check in and out as there was a steep path to the hotel entrance, not good to walk with luggages. I booked 2 bedrooms family suite but only with one bathroom which was the downside. However, the total space of 60 meter sq with a decent living room and a small balcony facing Matterhorn were a plus to the overall stay. There were some minor defects and the staff fixed efficiently. They had an indoor pool, a jacuzzi and a sauna room. I had to mention that the jacuzzi was of high standard and you must go after a day of hiking. So bring your swimming suit. However, please note that in there culture, no clothes are allowed to enter the sauna room and it is in mixed genders. The breakfast buffet was lack of choices. But I had to specially name Mr Fernando, he always welcome us with very good coffee and of course his warm greetings in the morning.
Suggestion to the hotel:
1. Stated clearly the number of bathroom/ toilet in the booking details regarding my booking is a 2 bedrooms suite.
2. More choices for breakfast, my family stays 4 nights there. Everyday, the menu is same.
3. The pool was closed at 8pm, will be better if it closes at 9pm as it was rather rush for the guests to use after dinner.
Overall, I recommend this hotel to family. I will come back again.

TTAEYING SPECIALISTStaying at Hotel Alpenblick in Zeneggen was one of the most peaceful and heartfelt parts of my entire Swiss trip.
The hotel is located high up in the mountains, at around 1,370 meters above sea level, surrounded by pure nature and breathtaking alpine views. While the public transport is understandably limited due to the remote location, once you arrive, you’ll understand why it’s worth it.
The atmosphere is quiet, calming, and deeply rejuvenating. It’s the kind of place where you truly slow down and feel present. The staff were exceptionally kind and caring—they made me feel like part of their family, not just a guest. I’m especially grateful for how much they helped me during my stay.
The hotel’s interior is decorated with charming European touches that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a living art piece—cozy, elegant, and full of character. Breakfast was absolutely top-notch, with a rich and thoughtful spread every morning.
Of course, being in such close contact with nature means there might be a few insects and there’s no air conditioning—but for anyone who appreciates fresh mountain air and the natural world, this place is perfect.
Highly recommended for nature lovers, artists, or anyone needing a quiet mountain escape. I’m truly thankful to the entire team at Alpenblick for creating such a special experience.

SStellakwansyStaying at this hotel in Zermatt was an unforgettable experience! The location is perfect—just 500 meters from the train station, making it incredibly convenient. The highlight of my stay was the warm hospitality from the owners, Thor and Michele. They personally served the buffet breakfast every morning, which was both delicious and thoughtfully prepared. On my first day, I unfortunately missed breakfast, but as I was heading out around 10:45 am, they surprised me by reserving some food for me to enjoy before leaving. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that truly made me feel cared for.
The room itself was immaculate and had everything I needed. The balcony offered a stunning mountain view, which was a perfect way to start and end each day. Thor and Michele went above and beyond to make me feel like a VIP throughout my stay. They remembered my name, attended to every need, and even took the time to explain the local attractions and recommend food options based on my preferences.
I feel incredibly lucky to have secured two nights at this gem of a hotel, especially since it’s almost always fully booked. This was one of the most personal and heartwarming stays I’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Zermatt, staying here is an absolute must. Thank you, Thor and Michele, for making my trip so memorable!

IInvitéI wish to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Hotel Bistrols from Dec 16 to Dec 17.
During my stay, I experienced an incident that left me quite unsettled. Around 20 mins after my check-in to the hotel, another group of tourists (think was a couple) was able to use hotel access card to access my room, we, both parties are shocked and super embarrassed. This situation raised significant concerns about the security protocols in place at the hotel. As a guest, I expect a certain level of safety. If the room was accidentally opened without my presence, I am not sure whether my belongings are going to disappear, this situation made me had just a light sleep throughout the whole stay.
The lack of adequate security measures not only compromised my sense of safety but also made me question the overall management of the hotel. In an age where guest security is paramount, I believe that Hotel Bistrols should prioritize ensuring that all rooms are properly secured and that guests feel safe throughout their stay.
A point to add is that the receptionist has poor attitude towards her service. The whole experience which I would not consider to give this hotel another try in future.
I hope that the hotel will take my concerns seriously and address these issues for future guests.

IIzzaPizzaThoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The excellent service rendered by the staff made our honeymoon much sweeter. Everyone was friendly, kind and always willing to help. Room was really nice and the extra sauna and open concept bathtub was a nice surprise! Breakfast spread was super delicious as well. Facilities like the wellness area include foot bath, infrared chairs, jacuzzi etc.

IInvitéLe Matterhornlodge est situé à environ 5-10 min à pied de la gare Zermatt.
Nous sommes arrivés à environ 1 h et nous avons été informés que le check-in était seulement à 2 h, donc nous sommes allés au déjeuner et nous sommes retournés à environ 2.30pm. Ruth était très chaleureuse, amicale et charmante; elle était très invitée et était heureuse de découvrir plus sur où nous venions et ce que nous avions prévu de faire.
La chambre est très confortable et la chambre est très confortable. Les serviettes et robes étaient épaisses, chaudes et fluffy.
Le petit déjeuner offert au matin était également très bon avec une sélection décente de pains, de coupes froides, de fromage et d'œufs.
Au checkout, Ruth nous a également donné un voyage complimentaire à la gare dans son véhicule électrique.
En général, nous avons eu un très agréable séjour à l'hôtel Matterhornlodge et nous avons été très impressionnés par l'hospitalité de Ruth.

Facilités de l'hôtel: Bien que les portes et la réception de l'hôtel semblent petites et sensées à l'âge, la chambre de l'hôtel est bonne, devrait être rénovée près d'un an ou deux ans, et les installations sont très nouvelles et propres. Bien que la chambre ait un siège de la souris, il y a un port USB-c sur le coucher et sur le bureau, et il peut aussi charger des tablettes mobiles. Les produits de bain de l'hôtel sont généralement disponibles. Il y a un récipient disponible. Le récipient regarde bien le nouveau récipient, mais il n'y a pas d'indication. Il est estimé que ce que c'est bon marché pour le récipient de lave-cheveux. En outre, attention à l'absence de boue thermique dans la chambre ( pensez-vous que le tsunami peut avoir plus peur de voir le problème de la boue de chaleur?)
Petit-déjeuner de l'hôtel: Oui, c'est tout un repas froid, les œufs doivent être mis dans le linge de œuf. Je suggère de sortir pour le petit-déjeuner à côté de McDonald's.
Service: Non, c'est que le temps de sortie est plus tôt.
