Clean quiet and quite cheap for the location. The staff were friendly. However, the included breakfast was questionable for my pallete.

Booked 3 nights in the ”Elegant Residence City-View Double Bed Room” at the Fanbo Yashe Hotel. Overall, it was a good experience and a comfortable stay. The front desk was quite helpful, especially the wonderful receptionist Xiaoya, who assisted me with numerous things with enthusiasm, such as answering any questions, showcasing the various free amenities in the lobby, giving a quick demonstration of how to use the shared laundry area, and offered additional water or other services as needed. The bed and other furniture were comfortable and clean. The shower and bathroom area were fairly good as well. The atmosphere and decor of the room were probably the best thing. Most hotels have a stereotypical and replicated hotel room, but this hotel's rooms give you something more enjoyable since it is a different style from the norm. Special note on cleanliness: I did want to give this a 4.5, but kept it rounded-up to a 5 since it was minor enough. The room did have some leftover sunflower seed shells in a few corners or where a piece of furniture meets the floor, and a little bit of dirt stuck where the floor layers overlap in the middle of the room. However, it was not that big of a deal. This is maybe a reminder for the hotel to take a second look where dirt or trash may get stuck when simply sweeping or mopping quickly. Special note on the bathroom mirror lighting: The lighting by the bathroom sink and mirror could use some more direct lighting, since the position of the current lighting is not too strong and caused shadows on the face. This is not a big issue, but it could prove inconvenient to others, such as women putting on make up or trying to carefully trim a beard. The top-down lighting can cause shadows and unclear views under the eyes, nose, lips, and neck. Tips for guests: Name of the Hotel: While this website says Fanbo Yashe, you may actually see it named Van Gogh's Garden in person. Don't be confused; it is the same place. ”Fanbo” is related to the Chinese name for Van Gogh, ”Fan Gao”. Laundry: Yes, is it available, but there is only one washer and dryer available (hopefully these are increased to two or three!). Laundry detergent is provided. It can be a little troublesome trying to manage around other guests, so it is likely best to do it during the day when people are busy. There is also some nearby clotheslines one can use or just hang in your room if there is not too much. Foreigner Friendliness: Very good. They'll use Wechat to translate and communicate with you if necessary or find some other methods. In short, foreigners should have an easy time here. If other receptionists are friendly like Xiaoya, then there is nothing to worry about. Attraction Services: The hotel seems to offer some ticket and transportation services for nearby attractions (or at least advertises third-party services), but I did not use them and cannot attest to them. Location: It is right next to the bus station in Tongren (and a few streets away from the train station). Once the bus drops you off in the lot, you will need to exit the lot and head slightly east towards the nearby main street, then make your way south. You should encounter the hotel next to where the bus tickets are sold.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, en plein cœur de la ville antique. Les installations nouvellement ouvertes sont excellentes. Pour le petit-déjeuner, nous devons nous rendre au Hilton Homewood Suites à 300 mètres. Le service doit être amélioré. Personne ne transporte de bagages dans l'hôtel du complexe. Il n'y a pas de gardes de sécurité à la porte de l'hôtel ou à l'intérieur de l'hôtel. L'une des serviettes de bain dans la chambre avait des taches jaunes, une des taches brunes et une des cheveux. J'ai demandé à la réception de me procurer de nouvelles serviettes de bain. Ils m'ont donné un peignoir la première fois et une serviette la deuxième fois. Après avoir quitté le magasin, il m'a demandé où se trouvaient les sous-verres et ce que je voulais en faire. Plus tard, il m'a dit qu'il les avait trouvés.

It's just beside the train station, super convenient. Just exit from train station walk to opposite road then it's the entrance access to hotel. Their entrance not very obvious, but they put sign clearly for direction. Newly renovated hotel, everything is new, clean. Auto curtain and auto toilet bowl amazed us. Only cons is noise from train station, if staying for short term for transportation convenient should be fine. Receptionist very polite and helpful, always give us advise on how to better transport to attractions that we wanted to go.

I am a bit bias when it comes to review and critique 5 stars hotel in comparison to others. Having said that let's take a look at this hotel. For a start, and in short, it is a gem! The room is huge, cosy, great location and wonderful view at high floor. I didn't get the name of the receptionist who checked me in. She is so efficient. That was the first give away the standard of this hotel. As i explore the hotel and went to the gym and pool, i was totally floored. This put international hotel fitness center to a shame. The amount of equipments in the gym is unmatched anywhere I stayed. Superb!!! Then i explore the second floor restaurant and order my meal. If you don't eat there you are missing a big hole here. Very delicious. Next i explode and tested the quality at front desk to their limit especially the added value services (Ms Chu, Feng and Zhang). But there is one conceige or bell boy or PR person i wish to acknowledge with exemplary. His name is Mr Wu(?). His knowledge and advice had helped me to plan my stay in Tongren more meaningful. Lucky to bump into him last night around 8pm. I wish to put on record and recognise this young man and thank him. Finally, i couldn't end this review without acknowledging the housekeeping and breakfast restaurant staff for their top notch and tireless services. Watch how they clean the room and the tables and you can tell they had been hone to be the best. Without saying, the Chef De Cuisine Mr Zhang is the best of the very best by international standard. I see him dance at the restaurant like a waltz, smooth as a whiskey too. A sight to be seen how he managed the restaurant. Thank you Head Chef. And so, a 5 star is a disservice to this hotel. Excellent staff. Excellent location if you like to be near Hongshan Lake. Excellent location if you like hot spring. Breakfast decent.

Room was clean but had a bit smoke smells. Would appreciate more if completely non-smoke. Front deck and all staffs were very accommodating. Location was good with minor issue on the noise of trains pass by in the back. Would be better if hotel installs sound proof windows. Overall it was a pleasant stay and would stay there future

Hotel is located in a busy retail precint, handy to transport. Metro is 300 m away. The address given is a bit confusing and quite difficult to find.Room is clean and service is good. There is free use of washing machine and dryer.Good value for money.

J'ai réservé cet hôtel sur la base des recommandations et des notes sur Ctrip, mais je dois dire que j'ai été un peu déçu et j'ai estimé qu'il ne méritait pas ce nom.
