Very kind staff, comfortable room (some appliances could be cleaner), and situated between the city center and Prambanan.

We stayed for 6 nights and check in was smooth - attended by Ms Febi who is soft spoken and very detailed in her explaination of the facilities etc. We start off with a bad night as the aircon compressor chose to breakdown. However, we only asked for assistance on the next morning which the front desk activated the technician who came by very promptly. The aircon settled but it again break down in the evening. We informed front desk and happened to be Ms Febi attended to the call and this time, we are move to the new room. Ms Febi came personally to the room to help move our baggages to the new room. It meant alot and shown a high level of customer service. We hope the management can show recognition to her. Another staff who assisted us with check out, Ms Danisha, very professional and prompt in ensuring a smooth check out process. The security officers, restaurant staff and house keeping are also friendly, always ready to help. Thumbs up to the hotel! Recommended as it is in the middle of Malioboro.

We enjoyed our stay here with excellent service with a smile always. The room is very spacious and clean although the floor is not carpeted. The housekeeping services were prompt and exceeded our expectations and special mention to the staff Andri. This hotel is well centrally located next to the shopping mall and my room has an awesome view of the Merapi. However, the breakfast selections and tastes still have room for improvement. Also, the towels provided a little worn out and discoloured.

A good hotel in a good location that’s got a weak spot, which is its food. We had a double room that was a great size with a very big bed furnished with comfortable linen. The a/c worked well and was relatively quiet. There was in room tea and coffee and bottled water.  We ate at the hotel twice, and declined breakfast after looking to see what was available. For breakfast, while we were around 40 minutes from the end of service the food looked meagre and unappetising. There was the opportunity to have omelettes etc, but we decided against it.  We ate in the rooftop restaurant, ordering spaghetti bolognese, chicken wings, spring rolls and a pizza. The food took a while to arrive and when it did it all came at once. All of the food was tepid at best and seemed as if it had been waiting to be collected and brought from the ground floor to the top floor. The bolognese was acceptable with the pasta being cooked al dente. The spring rolls had gone soggy and the wings, being just warm, were cooked ok but the sauce they were covered in was sickly sweet. The pizza was not cooked. The toppings appeared to be cooked but the base was raw. The dough was uncooked and inedible. We pointed this out and we were told it could be cooked further. We decided that probably wouldn’t improve it much. The staff offered a replacement, but again we decided that it would take too long and asked for it to be taken off the bill.  The second time we ate at the hotel we used the ground floor restaurant. Once again the food was disappointing. The oxtail soups contained beef that was not tender but tough, although the clear broth was tasty. The pasta of beef Alfredo, which was advertised as containing beef, mushrooms, etc was served with just a few pieces of what looked like smoked beef in a claggy sauce. Again, it appeared as if the meal had been sitting on the counter waiting for the waiters to deliver it to the table and had lost its heat. The fruit salad platter and banana fritters were very good.  Service at the hotel, from reception staff through to housekeeping was very good.  Overall, I’d stay again by I would avoid the restaurants.

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis à notre arrivée par Septi, qui a organisé notre enregistrement. On nous a dit que nos chambres n'étaient pas prêtes car nous sommes arrivés bien avant l'heure d'enregistrement, fixée à 15 h. Nous sommes allés à Marioboro, la principale rue commerçante de la ville. Nous avons été prévenus par WhatsApp lorsque notre chambre était prête. On nous a attribué une chambre au 6e étage avec une vue magnifique sur la piscine et le golf. L'hôtel dispose d'un grand complexe hôtelier. Il est ancien, mais tout fonctionne bien. Les installations sont toutes proches. On ne trouve plus cela dans les hôtels récents. Le petit-déjeuner était bon, avec un large choix de plats locaux et internationaux et un menu changeant quotidiennement. Nous avons dégusté trois petits-déjeuners pendant notre séjour. Dans l'ensemble, le personnel était sympathique et nous a offert un service chaleureux et souriant. Nous nous sommes sentis très détendus et bien accueillis. Continuez comme ça, Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta !
